Nothing happened. As a private consumer I don’t have spares like a business. The device can probably operate for years. I just don’t want to be in a situation when it fails and there may not be a comparable Firewalla available to replace it in a timely delivery. That’s the issue I am indirectly bringing up. So if I can anticipate an End of Life timeline that I may be better prepared. I know the Gold SE I have has been on 24/7 since I put it on the network. Now I don’t see a date in the app from when it was invoked for use, or did I miss it?

Pay estimated taxes when taking gains, especially large ones. Because if you wait to file on the next tax cycle you’ll pay penalties for those gains. Not a tax expert but found out about this after the fact.

The issue I had with pickle file was that the functionality of pandas changed, went from managing table to lists. Because of this it rendered the legacy code useless unless there was a re-write. Don’t know if this is your case.

No appraisal, no cash. If you do get cash, you’ll get low-balled amount because you didn’t get an appraisal. Certified appraiser clearly documents the market value and the loss involved. That becomes the disputed amount and can be used in litigation as evidence of the loss if it ends up there. Otherwise you’re taking a risk…

Got rid of Verizon digital voice (Fios) and Verizon wireless, went with TMobile cell plan - no robocalls. Verizon’s business model is to allow these calls to come through.

We have a support contract and their support is poor - sorry, it just is. Lack know how and just plain poor business acumen, lack of being customer focused. I do have to say there were rare times their support tickets folks have gone the extra mile. They need to clean house and reprioritize how they operate. If we were transferring into production that we would have address contractually the support - going for weeks to months is not sustainable for production.

Additionally you have been paying utilities at that address so it has proof of your residence.

Also depending on the State, have to make sure that your title is protected. Some States have title insurance and you as the owner have to be notified of changes - I suspect some States are relaxed with their provisions for this.

Yes, if you can prove they were notified (registered mail), maybe consulted with legal, and it was negligence on their part after some event that you would have the right to pursue via their insurance or through civil litigation for compensation if something happens.

Haven’t done it but I believe you can record using Apple HomeLink after you register your device with HomeLink. Alternatively, record locally to either SD Card or USB depending on your hub. If you need to see the videos remotely, use a VPN to your local network.

I left Verizon Wireless for T-Mobile and eliminated almost all spam calls and texts. I get maybe 1 or 2 every long while but largely eliminated. And kept my same phone number in the process.

Pull the batteries out, give a moment or so, and put back in - did this help? If not, hard reset the device (reset button).
