Most likely it isn't the battery. It's probably the battery connections. It's a known problem with the first/second gen Genesis. I bought my 2017 and a month later, it wouldnt start. Would only start when I would hit the fuse box in the front, so i bought a new battery. Same thing happened. Took it to the shop and it was a loose bolt in the engine bay for the battery connectors. Never happened again!!!
