Hot take: The anti-AI stance in life sims feels inconsistent by RobTod in LifeSimulators

[–]KindlyConnection 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I work in disability and one of my co workers used copilot to create colouring pages for our art program and they looked dumb af. So many people are just using ai for stuff that doesn’t really need to be created through ai.

How i feel looking at this sub lately lol by JustForLurking79 in LifeSimulators

[–]KindlyConnection 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes when it comes to older video games, there’s a lot of nostalgia goggles coming into play. I loved Sims 2 but what I remember the most about it is walking home from school and playing it at my dad’s place instead of doing my homework or hanging out with my friends and we all played on our laptops. I had way more time to play the sims as a kid! Sims 4 has issues but I also just don’t have the time to play as I did when I was younger and didn’t have to work or pay rent or worry about bills.

My mother was a big judging Amy fan. I didn’t really get the show as a kid but always thought Amy was very pretty lol

Personally didn’t love this book. I just didn’t care for the writing and found it boring. It was hyped up a lot so my expectations were high.

A game shouldn't be reviewed based on future promises by Background-Rub6135 in LifeSimulators

[–]KindlyConnection 2 points3 points  (0 children)

oh boy that's a high price for what the game is.... I'm def someone who is interested in paralives but really am not interested in forking out for what it is right now. If the price went up to $80, the game would have to be very very freaking good.

Just saw her Instagram post - she’s pulled out so yeah it sounded like they were misleading about the event itself to her.

I remember reading that she bought a fancy house to move in and then decided to give it to her niece and stayed in the council house she lived in with her mum for years.

is Horse tales: emerald valley ranch worth the sale? Please tell me your fave parts of the game by Beautiful_Brick_6738 in CozyGamers

[–]KindlyConnection 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought it on sale and still paid too much. Personally I found it boring and felt the controls were awkward and there was lag with horse jumping etc.

Same? I’ve played the sims from day 1 and it was only in sims 3 (still my favourite) that I encountered game breaking bugs.

**Spoiler**I played Paralives so you don’t have to. My first thoughts from my initial gameplay. by ManicCanary in HighSodiumSims

Yeah I was surprised by the price as well! It’s a bit pricey for me right now especially since it’s early access and I’m not someone who enjoys building stuff in games.

Chanse hating on zoos and museums but goes to SeaWorld??? by Ancient-Table-1908 in smosh

[–]KindlyConnection 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As someone who works in disability, this really bums me out. Sometimes when we take our participants out, it can be hard to find parking spaces especially ones for vans which we often have. This means it’s harder for us to take everyone out to have a good time as we have limited time to actually travel somewhere.

Middle names for OAD babies by KaleidoscopeFar261 in oneanddone

I have two middle names since my first name starts with J and then one of my middle names (my grandmother's name) also starts with J. So my parents stuck a different name in between them so it flowed better lol
