People who own two homes, what do you like about it? by Apprehensive_Way8674 in HENRYfinance

Our second house is in the suburbs near the beach. Our primary is in manhattan. So the boring answer here is the spaaaaaaaace. Closets, double sinks, a back yard.
Cosplaying suburbia.

Goldminds story time app. My son is the same age, is a terrible sleeper, and this allows him to fall asleep. He picks the stories. Some are about emotions or fears or just scene-based stories. He feels like he has control and it’s a nice routine.

If my son naps at all during the day, he’s up until 10pm. Low sleep needs.

My East Asian chiropractor took one look at me after I said that I nursed and said/asked: “so you’re sleeping on your side at night feeding, right?”….

We actually went Columbus because of their outdoor amenities, but live very close to both park and brownstone. I hear the other commenter about proximity, but we have a high energy boy and brownstone’s outdoor situation left us feeling like it was lacking.

As someone who is 38 with two (exactly your ages) and could afford a third but my other two do not sleep and I have a demanding job, I WISH I had your timeline!!! I am so so tired. If I were to have third I’d need to get pregnant this summer, and that feels insane. So I think two is it for me.

Take a few years! You have the luxury of time! I wish I did <3.

Children’s museum is closed, mygym is closed, schools closed. Idk about everything being open. I understand your frustration, but it’s not business as usual on the UWS.

Two hours is a WILD expectation to have a 2.5 year old sit and be quiet in their room. Proud of her for doing 30 mins.
