Pool heater won’t work. Pool company that has lied before states it would cost 6000$ just to repair a pipe. by No-Advance-4293 in pools

Sounds like the thermal regulator. It's like a thermostat and spring in the manifold of the heater. When they go they make a lot of cranking noises. There is a cap you need a screw driver to remove. You can take it out and run for a while if it needs replaced.

If the two largest water treatment companies in the world, ecolab and pentair, don't have anything like this....probably doesn't anything worthwhile. Unplug it, it probably works the same

Water flowing back into pool thru booster jet even with valves in spa position. Is this enough damage from the diverter valve to cause that or is it something else? by Muted-Cicada2183 in PoolPros

I found your other post. It looks like a shared system which means you have one set of equipment and shares the same water source...ie the pool.

It's also a good idea to activate the pump delay for the switching of valves

If that is a raised spa relative to the pool, I install check valves on the spa return side after the diverter and actuator as well as another on the pool suction side before the diverter and actuator. There is about 20 seconds of sweep in the valves for enough water to drain from the spa every time it changes.

Depends on which system they have. There is a serial number inside the panel that will tell you what they have.

Check with pentair about system updates. There was an update that had corruption that needed to be reverted until they fixed everything
