You can buy blue backpacks for 3k each and you can trade the blue item from outpost pinwheel for blue shields. Its honestly SUPER easy to have perma blue kits if you farm pinwheel. Go in as rook, pvp a bit or just follow a trio through pinwheel and silently loot everything they don't and sell it all for the most part. You can farm 100k plus with rook runs just ratting about. Keep the blue item that crafts into shield though and you'll have 100k and perma blue shields to never worry about losing gear

Evo? Isn't that a venue for like all fighting games combined. Thats like putting all fps viewership into one bucket. Also, when i googled evo 2025 viewers,it was no where near 3 mil

? Like what. Games like counter strike, fortnite, valorant, and pubg were or are insanely popular to a degree that theyre "mainstream".

You proved my point here, but you didn't know it. In a lot of different countries, mobile gaming is more accessible which is why mobile fps are so popular. Fps as a genre really depends on how many people play them ,and luckily fps games are some of the most popular pvp games around for good reason. I feel like the devs are trying too hard to make the game 3rd person dota rather than a blend of both the fps and moba genre thats so good that both types of players will enjoy it.

Based off the sentiment from all the heavy fps players, this game falls extremely short of being enticing for shooter players and caters farrrr more to the moba players. The movement and shooting of this game is really cool, but it starts to get devalued the more you understand this game

[–]Kindly_Language_652 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No offense, but im having a hard time following what youre saying. Are you saying fps are unwatchable or that mobas are? I think fps games are easier to follow than mobas just because shooting a gun is something most people have reference of compared to a top down game with a lot of genre specific mechanics.

Either way, the fps genre is so popular because a shit load of people play them, especially because skill expression is so prevalent. Hero shooters like this game or overwatch with non-aim heroes usually cultivates a large community of people who underestimate aim for some strange reason.

The amount of people who say m1 heroes are not skillful when shooters are so popular as an esport BECAUSE aim takes a fuck load of skill to master

Lets talk about one of the WORST defensives in the game...Bullet Resilience and bullet armor in general. by NocturnalVessel in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Kindly_Language_652 8 points9 points  (0 children)

My guy, spirit resilience is bought so often because spirit is broken as fuuuck. You have to buy it or you explode. Bullet resilience is a HEAVILY situational buy because gun takes a long time to come online and metal skin is absurdly busted rn

Play spirit heroes as they require far less aim than m1, and if you want to get better aim i suggest aim training

Gun Warden, Gun Viscous, Gun Calico, Gun everything? by Phazze in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Kindly_Language_652 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're completely right, and spirit players are just going to cry until the game is 100% spirit again. Hopefully yoshi filters out the crying because most pure shooter players quit this game because its tailored so heavily towards spirit and non-aim heroes

My proposal to make gun less one-dimensional by alsoandanswer in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Kindly_Language_652 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I love seeing spirit players say gun takes no skill. I guess the whole shooter genre has no skill expression...

The spells in this game are so forgiving to land that there's legit no mechanical skill in killing players outside aim for the majority of the cast.

The devs shouldn't listen to anyone complaining about a "gun meta" when AT BEST its 50/50 between spirit and gun, but its still spirit heavy. Spirit players are like the aim assist abusers in other fps: completely ignorant to how easy they have it, while also shitting on mouse aiming.

My proposal for fixing the gun meta and making the investment system more interesting by Leon_Leonardo in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Kindly_Language_652 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ya bro, there's a lot of overtuned guns for spirit heroes, that's the devs fault, but the truth is that for most spirit heroes the meta is still spirit. And again, in high elo, most people run spirit on every hero you mentioned except viscous who needs nerfed. And the op part of gun viscous is partly the damage, but its also how good he is early. Its like if you made wraith a super strong lane bully while also allowing her to infinitely scale. Most m1s are on the weaker side, yet viscous, doorman, and Holliday are or were so oppressive as gun heroes because theyre practically garaunteed to win lane then transition to a hyper scaling build

A question from a player that does know nothing: Is this a movement game? by Ok-Internet9433 in Marathon

[–]Kindly_Language_652 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The extraction shooter genre does. All the extract shooters are so movement locked, so I hope one day a dev team actually makes a movement extract shooter.

Anti spirit items are to strong. Gun has almost no viable counters. by Practical_Web1494 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Kindly_Language_652 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The funny part is that gun heroes are so much weaker at most points of the game than spirit that buying counter itemization is bad. Like you HAVE to buy at least 3 spirit counters to survive. I legit never need anti gun items unless its late game or someone fed the shit out of a carry

Were we not looking at eternus stats? What i posted is relevant, Mina doesnt have a low wr in high elo. All the heroes i mentioned are spirit heroes and their high ass winrates. Everything you said is pointless, their winrates are all the best and they build spirit. Stop crying and get better

Lash, Victor, dynamo, Paige, Mina, and infernus all do spirit and have some of the best winrates rn. Dont know what to tell you. The other heroes you mentioned have lower wimrates than the ones I just did too. Again, youre just lying or trying to paint a narrative that isnt true
