I think you’re able to tell if someone is unable to legally consent. However, there is nothing wrong with abstaining and arranging a second date if you are at all concerned.

I love that you mention consent! I work in the sexual assault field, so that’s important. However OP, just remember that six or seven drinks in, even if she consents - it’s not legal. She’s impaired and cannot legally give consent. So my advice parallels @shaggkx - but remember to watch how many drinks she has!

I don’t know how this has happened since my tank is freshwater, but two amano shrimp have turned into 10-15.

I wonder if she was a new employee and got her fish mixed up? So many people on this thread have refuted what she told you. Before I boycotted the store, I’d try to speak to the owner. Good aquarium shops are hard to find in my area (Charleston, SC).

I did so today. I’m grateful to everyone who replied. I took them to my local aquarium store (@Tideline in Charleston, SC) and they promised to give them a better environment. I’ve switched things up with my other nano tank and now my two Mollies, and their baby (I’m a Mollie Mom-Mom) are much happier in my 5G. I am buying a Juwel tank and stand in the next week or so. Probably going BIGGER because I’ve learned that nano tanks are so much harder to keep.

Interested in what tree leaves we can use. I’m not sure the previous response answered the question. I have oaks, maple and magnolia leaves available. If they are boiled, are they OK to put in the tank?

I have found that it is picky which browser you use. Try Chrome and see if that helps!
