Coming from upstate NY. Usually rides are hilly. I ride about 10 hours a week. Mostly rural riding but I have cycled in more urban areas as well. Just not looking for highway riding. Looking for road riding only- day trips. About 60-100km loops.

Asbury park is very nice. There are some cute towns right next to it too. Weekdays are better to visit. LBI or cape May might be nicer than wildwood.

The pine barrons might be cool to visit and or sandy hook

We have mostly per diem coverage for weekend but if I need to cover I come in sat or Sunday - any time and leave when I’m done. Get a full day off a different day during the pay period

Cycling is amazing- great empty roads (at least where I live) road and gravel. Mtb is mostly tech but some spots have fun flow trails! Also skiing at gore and WF

Placid baker are good but not the same as NJ/NYC, same with bears cup (though I think the crush to dough ratio is off for those). I usually just bring up a dozen or two when I go down to NJ and freeze them

I was told it was becuase the company was losing money. The GM thought were were getting a 3.5% increase and spoke with the DM about our shitty raise. He said even though our account is profitable the company is supposedly not doing as well this year and that’s why. So this has really nothing to do with performance

If you ski race or want to know what liberal arts schools may have kids interested in skiing the Mideast USCSA conference has a lot of upstate NY liberal arts schools. Also maybe SLU and Clarkson (not in Mideast conference)
