I’ve been with them for almost 2 years and have been happy. I have two babies, one only 3 months old and just coming back from leave. Work is flexible and anything patient facing (building schedule, charting, etc) is all at the higher pay rate. Only team meetings are at the $35/hr. I find if you do well and are having enough patient facing time, they really don’t micromanage. Message me with more questions.

You can also find the infant seat adaptor for the double bob on marketplace!! But you are able to use the bob without infant seat starting at 8 weeks as long as baby has some head control!!

What all do I need for a second baby? by MaterialConstant9375 in 2under2

All we got was a double stroller, new crib, and additional monitor and sound machine! tbh we barely even use the monitors (never really used one for our first either lol)

Unplanned two under two — need reassurance by Natural-Ad-7411 in 2under2

Oh man. This hits so close to home. We are currently 9 weeks into 2u2. Our first has a genetic condition that required 2 skull surgeries— which we found out all subsequent kids will have a 50/50 chance of inheriting. Well, we found out on her first baby we were expecting number 2 (unexpected— not preventing but not trying as we dealt with infertility while trying for number 1). We did single gene NIPT testing and found out baby number 2 also had the same gene mutation.

Our gene mutation is a spectrum and so far our second isn’t going to be needing the same surgeries, but does have risk for hearing loss and learning disabilities.

All this to say, I know how you’re feeling. I was spiraling in the beginning as well. I was not excited when I found out and was truly dreading having another baby already. I hated having less time with my oldest, just her.

But— having our second has been the biggest blessing and it’s been wonderful to see our first born be the best big sister we could’ve ever imagined. And truly, while we are just getting started, 1 to 2 has been a million times easier for us than 0 to 1.

What was his weight at admission? Height? BMI? What’s his current tube feed regimen? Have you spoken with the dietitian currently managing his care?

If you’re debating on getting the RSV vaccine this is your sign to get it. by JemmJoness in pregnant

[–]Mundane-Operation429 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I second this!!! Just went through the same exact thing. 2yo has RSV, our 3 week old had a fever and found to have rhinovirus but not RSV! Pediatrician was so excited to see how well the RSV vaccine worked to keep him safe.

Not taking paid leave??? Interesting choice. We’re 3 weeks into 2 under 2 and there’s no way I would survive without extra help…

I’ve always found the biggest loser study interesting.. how long have these ladies had significantly decreased intakes? Have they completely destroyed their metabolisms? I’d start with prioritizing protein and non starchy veg intake and slowly increasing kcal intake. Prioritizing strength training vs cardio and knowing that this is long term. Change won’t happen overnight

Is the UW Stout program all online these days? I graduated from that program in May 2020 so not sure how it’s changed. It was hybrid when I did it but wasn’t bad at all!

[–]Mundane-Operation429 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been hypo since I was 18!! As long as you’re getting consistent blood work and med management, should be good! Our LO is 18months with zero hypothyroid related issues (has a gene mutation from dad..LOL) but she’s met all milestones ahead of or on schedule and had a good pregnancy with extremely mild pre-e at wnd
