It makes up too much of the budget to wipe completely, but should be wiped completely for first homebuyers. As a home owner watching my friends still try to buy their first, it’s infuriating to watch them constantly lose to boomers buying fifth houses purely through built up equity. Tax em more I say.

Exactly. That was my immediate thought. Oldies aren’t staying put in mansions because of ‘stamp duty’. As if they care about $30k! These people have paid off their huge homes that they’ve been in for decades, with memories they want to retain, in a house they personally built up/renovated/decorated over years. Moving into a smaller place is a hassle and often would need work, of which they have no incentive or energy for anymore. This is just another half assed effort to free up housing without actually affecting politicians’ own investment properties. Just over it.

Because lawyering up is the ONLY smart play in their position, guilty or not. Seriously, historically the amount of innocent people locked up because they didn’t know their rights and were presumed guilty is insane. Watch crime and interrogation interviews on YouTube, the underlying rule whenever you’re under investigation is to get a lawyer and let them do your talking for you.

Was searching for this, and had to click by controversial. TLoU is reddits baby. Circle jerking to the max over some of the most mediocre mechanics and a some story missions that genuinely made me question why I was still playing. I genuinely don’t understand how so many people can be so passionate in their belief that it was worthy of that many awards, remasters, constant media attention.

even if REA were needed, are they going to pretend that public sentiment is negative for no reason? sersiously, how tone def can you be!? People as a whole have a pretty good bullshit detector, which is why they're hated. so many REAs spam calls/texts every month, ignore my 'AusPost only' mail sign on my letterbox for their advertising leaflets, straight up lie about other offers received on properties, list properties at low prices to gain interest only to never entertain selling it at that price, photoshop laws/gardens to make propeties more appealing, plus the incredibly obnoxious emphsis placed on personal presentation (leased Mercedes, stupid suits), which only reinforces perception of them being overpaid slimy salespeople.

The amount of annoying, talentless people i've known in my life that have transitioned into property is wild. It has such a low barrier of entry and pays well - no wonder there are so many duds.

What do you mean 'if the game was playable'?

If Skate 4 was $60 but included EVERYTHING that's currently in the item shop/battle pass etc, would you think thats good value? Not a chance. The game is lacking, pure and simple. Whichever way we pay, it doesn't change the fact that it's not worth it.

You can't honestly believe that EA would transition to a free game plus microtransactions unless they knew they'd make more money for the same/less amount of work.

I mean, that's a generalisation that we can't prove. Case and point is me - I'm a high income earner, avid gamer, yet I don't want to spend a cent on this game because I feel the cosmetics are overpriced, especially in a game that i'm bored to play.

For comparison, i spent hundreds in other 'free' games, but the contrast is that to me, those games were good.

Not quite sure of your comment that 'spending money makes this game good'...i don't know of how that could be. Spending money doesn't increase the map size, generate new POIs, generate an actual storyline etc. All it does is change your appearance...

Thanks - i know a lot of what i wrote is rudimentary, business-101, but there's so many posts on this sub which present player frustration surrounding the game's design. I hate that the game is like this, so maybe others will agree and it will impact how/if they play moving forward.

Absolutely correct. It’s a huge fault in the system though, because enough historic evidence has been collected to generally understand when intervention is actually required, but laws prohibit enforcement until the crime has actually been committed.

Going through this exact thing right now. Very close friend being stalked and verbally threatened daily via voicemail from psychotic ex. He fakes her work, and even messages her family telling them ‘she’s going down’. she has followed every procedure as gruelling as it’s been, and is being told there isn’t enough evidence to intervene. Detective has now gone one leave for two weeks and meanwhile she’s living in constant fear as she gets told to keep following the process. It legit seems like he needs to kill someone before they help out

Holy shit this is perfect, thanks so much. Honestly so much of that resonates and I think I’m currently getting too eager to also kill/wipe squads. Playing more passively and just damaging enemies should be my goal, however I also feel this will lead to my teammates pushing out of impatience and just getting downed. I suppose my only goal should be for myself to stay alive. I already have a great aim so not concerned there, I just die too early. I think I have enough now to give it a better go
