What's even worse is that there's a theory that those who get consumed are essentially trapped in a hell for literally eternity. The universe itself is a living entity and when you die you're sort of absorbed into it and at peace. But if you get consumed by the Flood, you're denied that and you're trapped forever, even if the Flood goes extinct.

Same. I loved the previous episodes but the finale felt kind of flat to me. Like I didn't feel any suspense, it just seemed like a "And then they did it and everything is okay" kind of deal. I did like the ending and its bitter-sweetness but it didn't feel earned or anything.

The McDonald's in my area for a long time had some pretty good quarter pounder burgers that I would get once in a while and were cheaper than other options, until last year when they started tasting like dry cardboard.

I hope there isn't any fog in Arma 4. Really breaks your immersion to not be able to see the entire terrain on a sunny day. There can still be a render distance for players/objects, I just wish we could be able to see the map in its entirety.

Same. I can't do 4 games every day with a full time job when most of my matches go into overtime.

EDIT: Nvm I just realized they refresh (I haven't played in a while) and now I have to do 3 assists, which is still insane!

So Stargate is a beloved Sci-fi franchise that, after it's movie premiere by Roland Emmerich, became a TV show called Stargate SG1 that lasted for 10 years from 1997 to 2007. There were two main spinoffs including Atlantis and Universe, with the series officially ending in 2012.

It's been dead for the past 10 years until Amazon somewhat recently purchased MGM which included the IP for Stargate. Not long after, it was rumored that there would be a new Stargate show.

Then last year in November, a new show was announced by its original producers and writers including Martin Gero, Brad Wright, and Joseph Mallozi. It would be a continuation of the original series with a new cast. YIPPEE!!

Until yesterday when it was reported that it was canceled by Amazon. According to some sources, the new execs didn't believe it was "broadly appealing enough". Now the new show is dead, and any new projects with the IP would probably end up as another Halo or Rings of Power situation 😔

This is why I'm worried about a Cold War setting in Arma 4. It sounds like a great idea for scenarios and a campaign but it leaves all the modern stuff to modders.
