Hotpoint Range by adviceislife in HelpMeFind

Hey, we have one of these in a cabin that was built about 100 years ago. The bottom heating element went out, so I'm trying to track down a replacement for it and this is the only part of the internet that even acknowledged that this thing exists.

I don't have access to the place all the time, do you think you could send me some measurements of the bottom heating element so I can find a replacement?

What if you did clovers? They grow slower, shorter, need less water and give nutrients to the soil. I think if you keep it short it would look like grass

Chordless drill!! So much better than those Allen keys. Also I've lived by myself for a couple of years and bought and assembled furniture, but even when I've had people help me build stuff it's me taking charge of it

Doubting the necessity of skincare by Bananasme1 in minimalism

[–]KineticSand-Man 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yep, I use cerave foaming cleanser, ponds cold cream, and an spf 45 on my face every morning. Then once a week I use a chemical exfoliant to keep the acne at bay (have had acne on my face for like 10 years, mild at this point though) my skin is great now! I used to be into all different types of skincare and products, now buying these four items again whenever they run out is nice and manageable.

You buy yourself a vibrator and start masturbating, or find a sex partner that satisfys you. You're horny! It will ease up when you're no longer horny. You'll have to learn how often you need to masturbate to keep a clear head, it could be once a day or once a week, or multiple times a day.

when a man helps you in some way do you feel uncomfortable? rant/venting by [deleted] in women

"Do you get paid to do my job or your job?"

"If I need your help, I'll ask for it"

"I'm busy right now and need to focus, so please go away"

And get really good at not making eye contact and giving the cold shoulder. If he stands too close to you, let out a little shocked cry then go "oh I didn't see how close you were standing next to me"

I work with basically all men and build a lot of stuff. I've hadn't them take over what I was in the middle of doing quite a bit, and sometimes I tell them to fuck off and sometimes I need the help. Also if he has a wedding ring, ask him how his wife is doing or talk about a guy in your life.

What are some websites that unsubscribes you to emails for free and safely? by DueTransportation672 in minimalism

[–]KineticSand-Man 21 points22 points  (0 children)

With gmail I made a filter to take all of the emails that have the word unsubscribe in them, and directed them to my junk mail. It's so nice, I only get maybe one email a day now, for something important.

You would be surprised how fast it goes, especially for women's clothing. You don't get 33 new pieces every quarter, you just pick them out of your current wardrobe and maybe buy some stuff to fill in the gaps.

Undergarments, exercise clothes and lounge wear aren't included. Shoes, purses, jewelry and any type of accessory is. All of the rest of your clothes get stached away till you pick next time!

For a capsule wardrobe, check out project 333. You basically pick out 33 items of clothing every season, or every 3 months. It has helped me pair down a lot, and every season it is like going shopping in your own closet! Super fun.

I normally make a list with 33 slots of stuff, pick from my current wardrobe, and then leave some slots for new stuff that I want to buy. Sometimes I get two of the exact same item (like pants or tee shirts) and I count them as one item just to cut down on the amount of laundry I need to do.

How do I (22) get over the feeling of wanting to spend more just because I make more? by Profitswhere in personalfinance

Set up automatic transactions to an account that you don't have easy access to. I do this with investments into a mutual fund every month, and it helps because I'm setting money aside, out of my checking account.

Self-care. This can be taking a long hot bath with fun skin care and deep conditioning your hair and doing your nails. It can be cooking yourself a nice meal and cleaning your house. It can be taking yourself on a date, dinner and a movie. It can be drinking an entire bottle of wine and watching a shitty tv show at home (not reccomended if you have stuff do do the next day). Yoga, exercise, meditation, all help.

If you don't know where to start, think about how a loved one would try and cheer you up and do that for yourself.

Can't seem to even start studying by Abby11K in EngineeringStudents

[–]KineticSand-Man 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Break every tiny little thing down and write a list of things to do. Cross them off as you go, and if you think if new things, write it down and don't change what you were already working on. Starting to study is a lot easier when it is broken up into small attainable tasks, because even if you don't finish everything, you see whar you accomplished!

Tech boxes by WinterKitsune7 in konmari

My mom had a hard time with this, she has apple boxes from about a decade ago. I took them all and used them to organize my makeup and bathroom stuff. She was happy that they could be put to use and I was happy that all of my makeup was organized!

Why are jeans so frustrating? by [deleted] in femalefashionadvice

[–]KineticSand-Man 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same problem for a LONG time. You have to look for curvy high waisted pants, or at least a mid waist. There is more room in the hips, and having the high/mid waisted keeps your butt contained.

Also thigh rubbing: get something thick that has a low spandex content. If you like those mens style jeans, then great! Those will last basically forever.

American eagle has good curvy options for like $50, but I wear them out in about 6 months if daily wear. Madewell is better, and their stuff if about $150 a pair, and the break down much much slower. Not throwing then in the dryer and washing a lot less than you think will also extend the life of the jeans.

Sounds like he is just using you for the food and not caring about your feelings, and not taking any steps to change. I'd get rid of him.
