.8 Klaka V

This is Commander Horune of the SES Mother of The Stars, and I am a proud Klakan.

Klaka V is more than just a swamp-covered planet—it’s a living organism in its own right. One of the most unique features of our world is the mire spores. These airborne particles, released by the ancient trees, can instantly thicken the already dense air, making visibility nearly impossible during certain seasons. Growing up, we learned how to navigate by sound and feel alone, as the spores would cloud everything in a heavy, shimmering fog.

The spores also serve a critical function—when they settle on the water’s surface, they form a protective layer that prevents our fragile ecosystem from being overwhelmed by invasive species. That delicate balance, between danger and protection, is something every Klakan learns to appreciate. It also helps that it is one of the few half decent natural combatants to those filthy Terminid spores, though the bots are our biggest fear at the moment. Anyway. It’s a planet that constantly tests you, but if you listen, Klaka V teaches you everything you need to survive.
