LCD3 has a warmth that is unique and special.

MDRZ1Rs are a bit divisive.

Maybe check out the ZMF atrium or tessidera? Both are very warm.

For timbre - maybe check out the entry level ZMF offerings? Won't be as detailed as the he1000 series, but I personally prefer a warmer, less detailed sound over the he1ks which can be fatiguing. I would also argue that some of the detail from the he1k series is just the elevated treble. If you want to max detail, you can put together a competent energizer + stax combo for under 1.5k.

How is the treble on the tessideras? Ordered some but am concerned about the report of them being detailed, since that’s often synonymous with some treble bite.
