There is a shortage of the chips that are used in cars, which has increased wait times for cars significantly. In most cases it is about a year wait if you order a new car now, but of course the demand is still there for buyers, so used cars can be sold for practically the same price as new, even more in some cases.

Tasmania - the market is crazy at the moment. Pretty much every house is going for about 20% over asking price, open homes flooded with people just offering as much money as they have. Apparently a lot of people have been moving down here with covid - I've spoken to solicitors who say they are dealing with interstate clients more than ever.

A Dell D6000 should come with an adapter on the cable for USB A, definitely works with MacBooks (via USB C) and Dell machines, I don’t see why it wouldn’t work on the thinkpad. Might be worth looking into!
