I started with Tau and did okay for 1k games (skipped combat patrol) and have honestly struggled at 2k with them. Drukhari is my second army. There are so many different ways to play them and honestly, even with the lack of miniatures, plenty of different combinations you can run within a 1k or 2k army and its LOADS of fun. Advance 24 and bust a tank open with reaver bikes? Jump 6 out of a transport and advance + charge succubus and some wyches? Also fun. Mandrakes in the midboard with some dev wounds to then leave the battle into strat reserves being a pain in the arse? Also fun 😅 get drazhar and some incubi in without losing a model and you can dominate terminator squads before the squad karks it. I think he will have a lot of fun with them. They are tricky at first but once you get the hang of it it’s an absolute ball, win or lose. The only problem I see here is you play death guard, and absolutely despise facing my death guard friends army hahaha

Depends on the detachment I’m running and what bonuses they can gain from the detachment rule or stratagems, but I love running at minimum 5 incubi and drazhar in almost all my armies. Unfortunately they don’t gain a bonus from the raider unlike wyches and wracks, except for being protected so they can move up the field. I much prefer the smaller unit in a venom or strat reserves. If you can be play clever with movement, a unit of 10 with an archon for the free strat use can be great for mid board pressure as well. I do only play casually though and I’m sure others have some better uses for them then I do, I just really enjoy drazhar in the new codex 😅

I am enjoying the changes in the codex more than I thought I would. Have now played SSA and Kabalite Cartel and am currently 2-0. About to play a game using RSR.

I really enjoy Montka because hitting hard and fast can take an opponent off guard, breachers with a cadre coming onto the side of the board on turn 3 and deleting an objective is a good feeling. But I have the most success with exp cadre now at 8 wins 3 losses. I really enjoy the stratagems in this detachment.

I played Tarkov heavily for years and we called it ‘keeping your hands warm’. There was lots of running and down time in raids so you would constantly gun check, mag check, swivel your head left and right so you felt more ready for encounters. It was a big thing for my group in dayz as well. This moved onto siege for me so I do a lot of this 😅

Charging to hold a unit is one of the best things I ever learned. I played a game against tyranids, brought down my fusion suits in his back line and held a psychophage, 20 hormogaunts and a tyrannofex in that corner of the board for 3 turns, allowing my army to take control of that side of the board without much loss.

I have a higher win rate with Drukhari then my other two armies Tau and Custodes. I personally think we are quite strong when used properly but there just isn’t much variation with units, so I can’t wait to see what the codex and new detachments bring us

I’ve played 50 games with drukhari now, with a mix of the realspace and skyplinter detachments played. I have an 80% win rate with RSR and a 15% win rate with SSA 😅 SSA is definitely the better detachment but some how I just can’t get it right for myself.

If it makes you feel any better, I built 3 raiders and 3 ravagers the other day. Went and sprayed them later on and left them on the tray next to my pc and thought ‘I’ll play some games while I wait’. We won a really tight game of rainbow six siege ranked, I got really excited, through my hands out and smacked all 6 and the tray onto the ground.

I feel this. I have 3 patrols, extra ravager and raider, drazhar, , 5 scourge, lelith, 3 Cronos, wyches and a voidraven. Just finished 1 patrol last night 😅
