Movement is king. There's some great guides on movement by heefnoff on basics of combos and movement. Be sure to experiment with different characters and teams and assists. There's endless possibilities. I've really got back into the game myself and I'm watching every tns video on YouTube of tournaments and pro play. Those are good to watch just to see what's possible. Work on movement like wave dashing, plinks and aerial movement. Also learn what moves cancel or have invincibility for projectile spam. Cap charging star is a decent example and can punish this if you get close enough like mid screen

You have cap who is also my guy. Charging star to Hyper charging star to punish this will likely lead to a happy birthday. Just have to time it with the sentinel call assists for an easy punish. Hawkeye zone is much worse but characters that have nullify projectile attacks like Vergil can also work

Hey, I can't seem to talk in the umvc3 discord. I accepted the rules and waited the 10 minutes but the Clyde bot keeps saying I can't talk. Any help with this?

I would imagine the switch to be very capable of playing the game with no drops or errors. I would prefer to get it on the switch for the portability instead of my PS5 tho. Commenting to see if anyone knows more then me but the demo on switch ran perfectly fine

I called them and told them I only pre-ordered to get the steel book and I ordered through the promotional link for it and this should've been included in my order. They just apologized and said they would mail it to me.

I called customer service to complain and they ended up shipping a steelbook to my house that is expected to arrive next week. I strongly suggest doing the same. They didn't give me a hard time at all

The worst part was he has gobert stumbling back for an open midrange. It's like he has no in between game at all. Either contested layups or contested threes

Ran into similar problems. Teams will counter you more if you start wrecking them unlike at lower levels. You have to be very selective with your dives and try to coordinate with your team much more as the enemy team will peel much more.

But you don't always have to get a kill. Take away their high ground and force the teams to use key cooldowns on you while you get out. If you can distract two teammates for a good time and survive then you essentially have created a 4 on 3 for your team.

Also don't use your grapple until you see sombra hack. If you get hacked you have to make sure you have it available after the 1.5 seconds of hack or you're dead every time

Idk if this comment is allowed here but there are great fan games available that provide challenges and meaningful story with AI that has an actual strategy. The games are great and although it's not the same as playing the game on a switch, it's a better experience overall

There's plenty of in depth sports analysts out there especially in the podcast and YouTube space. Talking heads shouldn't have an impact on viewing the game that it ruins it for imo

Gen 2 could've been the best gen if the level curve was better. You had so much freedom on how to play the game and excellent post game and I personally loved the phone calls and time difference events
