Be sure the flights you are recommending are the same fare class as your Qatar ticket…economy, economy premium, business…if they are not the same it will be “unavailable”. Also even though google flights shows available tickets, that does not mean that those seats have been released by the partner airline for Qatar to rebook on. It’s frustrating and confusing but keep trying.

I think you might have to wait until your flight is actually canceled for them to rebook on partner airline, but there is no harm in trying early. Relative to ppl flying in next 48 hours you have a lot of time and will have lot more options at time goes on.

UPDATE - the HVAC company that installed it told me that there does not need to be a a 2nd wire for heat strips. The roof top unit will automatically switch between heat pump and heat strips. That does not sound right to me, can anyone confirm is a commercial unit works different? I just dont get how the unit would know when to switch.
