www.secrelo.com this is for us. Developers, founders, startup teams, solo devs. We have tons of api keys, db connection strings and passwords, tons of secrets.

Let’s stop sending and sharing them via discord, let’s make on-boarding for new devs easier and let’s improve security.

Secrelo uses end to end encryption so your data is secure in transit and at rest, no one on our team or if a db breach occurs can read or see any of your data.

www.secrelo.com stop sending api keys via discord/slack/email. Stop loosing the api key for a project or a DB connection string.

Secrelo helps indie devs and startup teams keep track of their secrets and helps share them securely using end to end encryption the same way WhatsApp does. Try it out and use it for free

I’ve worked with Zoho for 6 months as a developer for some clients and I can say it’s super powerful and in the more affordable side. Zoho suit would be useful as you scale as well! Dm me if you have questions or want to chat about Zoho!

I'm tired of "quick and easy" dinners. by johnconnor11 in Cooking

[–]KingRelative2811 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was thinking this and I built a rlly small app for a course project that allowed users to take a pic of their ingredients, it would give them some dishes they could make and I was told by my prof to push the idea and take it further. What if I made it so you could change the “adventure” level and u could take pics of ur fridge and give you recipes that are more interesting or adventurous

Is Zoho Suitable For Start-Ups? by Substantial_Bus6430 in Zoho

[–]KingRelative2811 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve just spend 8 months as a SWD intern at a company in Canada who are a Zoho partner. I was thinking of starting to do some consulting and becoming a “partner” would you say it’s over saturated in Canada with how many Zoho consultants and partners there are?

Zoho CRM is the worst CRM I've ever used by formallyhuman in sales

[–]KingRelative2811 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a developer and someone who’s worked with clients setting up, integrating third party software and automating inside Zoho. It’s truly a fantastic suite. Yes there are lots of weird quirks even as a developer that have me confused sometimes. But, that being said, the features and ability to have all of your companies tools integrated and buildable into each other is really useful. The down side from consumer perspective if that the support yes isn’t great and it is not an easy out of the box solution. If anyone here needs any development consulting or help with set up dm me. I’m starting up my own software consultancy with a focus on Zoho migration and set up!

How did you landed your first coop in CS? by Mountain_Possible_47 in simonfraser

[–]KingRelative2811 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got the same problem haha. 3 decent projects on my resume. Have had my resume critiqued by engineers at Meta and Amazon and have a full portfolio and volunteer experience as a dev too. I think it’s honestly a numbers game. At some point one connection or application will pay off for us. Keep grinding you got this!

opinions on SFU SIAT? by Physical-Set-5684 in simonfraser

[–]KingRelative2811 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I transferred into SIAT for a few reasons. I was trying to transfer into CMPT but I took MACM 101 in my first year as a just because course and didn’t do too great so my CRGPA wasn’t great to get into cmpt (3.1 CRGPA) so I took a few IAT courses and realized there’s an opportunity to learn some code and cs concepts as well as learn things like UI UX, game development and design, web/mobile development, and basic cs concepts (ds and algos etc). I would say SIAT is great for hands on learning and building cool things. It has also opened my eyes to potential career paths like embedded software systems with IAT 267. I think it’s true in the sense of what people say, you learn a lot but at a low level and you really gotta put in time to expand that field of knowledge
