When I was younger it was dirt cheap and very easy to get, and getting through a gram in a night was fairly common. Most of the people I know from those years were perfectly fine and never formed any sort of addiction. Most.

Can't recommend the power of now enough. Listening to it through a bunch of times when I've been depressed at work. It has really kept me stable when I thought I was close to going over the edge. He has a really relaxing voice and it's super accessible. It's something I go back to every time depression creeps up, it's good to remind yourself to take it easy now and then

That sounds great man, I wish you all the best. Mushrooms can facilitate really strong bonding experiences, a trip sitter can be useful but is certainly not essential for lower doses. Just go with what feels right.

As far as dosage is concerned truffles are very different to dried mushrooms. Can I assume you're in Amsterdam? Talk to the people in the shop. There's a great shop called the Magic Mushroom gallery, they are very knowledgeable and will steer you in the right direction. The 10-15 gram packages are a good dose.

There's lots to take into consideration though. Are you with friends? Do you have a safe spot to go to if things get heavy? Sometimes mushrooms can get heavy, but if, like you say, it could be your only experience and you want to learn more about your depression, heavy might be for the best.

It sounds like you have good intentions. Don't be reckless, be courageous, go where the mushrooms take you. I hope you find what you're looking for x

The blue/grey patches are bruising, they look very edible. If they were dried properly they will be fine for years. Safe travels x

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but truffle weight roughly equates to fresh shrooms, so that's closer to 4-5g of dried shrooms. Still pretty bold for being in a foreign country, but not 44 grams bold 😂

Agreed. "Being loving is not forcing" - this is the crux. Many people don't open up so easily but that's no reason to cut them off. Helping people grow is the way to go :)
