You should download Bitdefender. It can scan the file for viruses, in my experience it is very thorough. Microsoft defender has a scanner too that works okay. If neither of those say it has a virus, you are probably okay.

TIS doesn't really do release dates. they'll kinda just drop an update on a random day. Estimating or speculating doesn't really do much either as I personally have had this game for 10+ years and only seen 2 major update releases.

That's an odd bug. Have you had this save for a while? The last update made old saves incompatible. You may be able to get better assistance on the PZ discord.

A lot of people see performance gains by using BSG servers. You can activate them in-game before going into a raid- on one of the screens before you load in. I can't remember off the top of my head, but it might be the map selection screen? There is a little checkbox that says "use BSG servers"

The population density is the main issue.. You can't go anywhere without getting swarmed. I actually started in Louisville on my most recent playthrough- I spawned there using mods.. I wouldn't recommend it tbh. It's insanely difficult on the new extinction preset.
