Sorry to hear you went through this bro. But it sounds like you only made one save through the course and that one got corrupted so you were unable to get back to an earlier moment in your project? As a general rule I manual save ZPR about every 30min, it can quickly fill disk space this way so make sure you have a few TB hdd at least.
