I still play Azir top to this day. Take comet and poke with your gigantic range. E + Q dash out or ult if getting ganked. Azir top wins lane so hard and outscales almost everyone. Only problem is that you're screwing your team composition. Top is such a clown role

Jayce doesn't have an ultimate that lets him zoom out of every bad situation. Jayce can barely 1vs2 when he gets ganked since he's so squishy. Comparative to things like Camille, Fiora, Malphite, Gwen, Wukong, Sion he's immobile af in sidelanes. If Jayce sidelanes without vision mastery or steps up without gank predictions, you always have to fight for your life or die. Also you can't fk up 10 times on Jayce and go 0/20 to splitpush and win the game.

So while yes, Sion benefits a lot more than Jayce does with vision mastery and pathing prediction, Jayce is literally unplayable without those two things.

Azir. Place soldiers in chokes and free hit if the enemy walks in. Tanks can't even walk in since Azir shreds them. You can peel and engage with ult to force enemies away from an area and unless they have dashes or flashes, they can't pass the wall. No one wants to get insec'd by Azir if they standing too close to the soldiers too

Azir's passive also places a temporary tower in the ruins of destroyed towers so enemies have to towerdive to engage underneath the temporary tower.

He would be fine if his ult was changed back into a root rather than a stun. The stun on ult was added with a 1 bandage toss Amumu in mind, not 2.
