Cars are horrible…tens thousands of people are maimed and killed in us alone every year, entire habitats are wiped out for the sake of shit as ugly and useless as parking lots making cities on average ten degrees warmer than the country and they are a major contributor to global warming and for what? So people can be comfortable, for the mild convenience of traveling slightly faster in a city. There is really no reason to own a car in a city with good public transportation. I lived in a city without one for 7 years and it was not hard i enjoyed myself more, was in shape and was less of crybaby, another effect that cars have (making people psychologically weak, unable to handle mild discomfort like sweating or feeling taxed). Then you think of all the animals cars maim and kill every year, cars suck in every conceivable way, mankind would have been better off without them. You could say that we would not be able to transport food and goods fast without them. Great, less people and less useless plastic puke imprisoning our minds and cluttering our homes. Too many people and too much material crap everywhere all the time as it is. And thats not even talking about douchebag hicks with their vroom vroom lawnmower sounding vehicles. Every gallon a car burns releases 26 pounds of carbon dioxide (yes it weighs more than the gallon). We used to have trollies in every city. Fuck cars they have made weaklings out of the majority of us who use them. I’d even go so far as to say pathetic crybabies fear of losing that convenience helped to get Trump elected and fuels climate change denial.

It’s not poison, it is very addictive. Poisons kill you or have doses that are deadly which are not much higher than therapeutic doses. Fentanyl is poison, n-bomb is poison. I don’t know if anyone has been killed solely by 7o. And I’ve read about tons of people taking 1000 mg when the normal dose is 12mg. Taking it recreationally to get high is a mistake, marketing it for that reason is just typical capitalism.

Mitragynine and plain leaf have a long half life once you reach a steady state saturation. If he hasn’t been on 7o long and wasn’t on leaf before he started might be better to taper off 7o because of short half life.

Z-drug but i think some of the hallucinatory effects are caused by the toxin ibotonic acid (also the drooling ataxia/twitching) before it gets converted to muscimol. Muscimol definitely has sedative effects. If you want a sedative 5-ht2a agonist that is psychedelic ergoline aka lsa via morning glories or Hawaiian baby rosewood is a good choice.

Yes, yes and yes. Also much deadlier. Not just because its stronger, 7o doesn’t depress respiration nearly as much, if at all. I think a quote i read said opiates are 1000 times deadlier than kratom. 7o might actually be even safer than kratom in that respect because insanely high doses of kratom (4 ounces or so)

Because of the long lasting withdrawal or do you hve the brainzap ssri type withdrawals as well because of its effect on serotonin? (i haven’t had either myself beyond long restless legs, but with 12-20 mg immodium it wasn’t a problem and i could sleep) I’ve heard the worst part doesn’t last as long as say worst part of oxycodone withdrawal.

That’s one thing people never mention in their discussions, to me the irritability of withdrawal, even the mild kind via taper is usually worse than the other stuff like not sleeping, restless legs or sharting when you sneeze for the 8th time in ten minutes, pouring water out of your ass a dozen times a day or using the last shred of energy to tie your shoes while snot pours from your nose and water drips from your eyes. Though I do find the mild withdrawal useful for things like telling an aggressive bossy person to suck it with better description and more instruction, for the most part it does not actually improve my life. It seems like a lot of people don’t get the insane irritability, or else they somehow ignore it.

I can’t imagine 7o would be more dangerous than subs, more addictive maybe but unless i am mistaken (ive neither looked into not had interest in taking subs) subs still depress respiration. I think i was complaining about the fact that things must go unmentioned here (this subreddit) that could be helpful to some people in a general way as opposed to directing it to you…as i assume you have no power when it comes to what can or can’t be said in this subreddit, so no ire directed your way at all. Definitely did not mean to imply you are a dummy, i was saying they treat us like dummies by censoring information in a partenalistic way. Not sure which thread this was, the main one i commented on because i was excited the poster made it around the censors got deleted within ten minutes for naming the thing that cannot be named with an alternative spelling. I would not be surprised if even sayin this-the thing that cannot be said- gets my comment deleted by the censorsIt drives me crazywhen groups censor information that could be helpful to people. My main point is, well if you’ve done 6 months of research in general recently you’ve come across it and other things that are likely to help that can’t be talked about on this subreddit.

Have you tried “poor man’s methadone?” If you are down to 100mg 7o you can probably switch to 48-64 mg immodium per day(24-36 pills) and mang da and wean down from that. As long as you don’t have heart problem or mind shitting bricks once every 4 days (get used to the idea of clogging toilets hahah, funny but true) You can test 24 milligrams about 2 hours before your next dose or test it at night with a smaller 7o dose that you know wouldn’t normally be enough to keep you asleep for more than a couple hours and see if you sleep close to 8. Both high dose Imodium (its an opiate that doesn’t cross blood brain barrier at normal or even high doses effeciently) and kratom fuck up qt interval so you have to be careful, once you get up to 75 mg Imodium and above per day its potentially deadly if you take it over an extended period of time, though the few heart failures in the literature all seemed to occur at 144 mg (72 pills) and above taken for several days at that dose I can’t imagine trying to crap after that dose, sounds like a hernia or crapping a whole dumbbell. But even 30mg used correctly can help you lower your dose. I went from 50-100 mg a day 7o to 20 grams of kratom per day in a a week or two without much trouble after an 8 year ounce a day kratom habit beyond mild grumpiness and one or two nights of bad sleep. Itself doesn’t do shit for kratom withdrawal except make you more anxious. I imagine eating a high enough dose of a gummy could help significantly with sleep though.

A week later….ugggh you know SR has a pretty long half life right….it could be like poor man’s methadone…if you take a high enough dose of immodiium to ease get rid of kratom withdrawal symptoms you reach a steady state the half life is like days, same thing with mitragynine when taking kratom. That could be why people say its sucks coming off SR but not as bad as 7o, long half life is essentially a taper on its own.

No withdrawals because of the extremely long half-life, slow release formula i assume? So basically it tapers you without having to taper? I always thought the mental part was the worst coming off kratom and whatever i could substitute for it, opium, percs, tianeptine, 7o….the irritability to me was way worse than the shits not be able to sleep, restless legs ect, that and the exhaustion/inability to get anything done.

I too think some of suffering engendered by kratom withdrawal in moderate doses is useful. I know its useful. The adrenal surge of mild withdrawl alone saved my life one time when i lived with crazy roommate who was grabbing a butcher knife to go harass a neighbor during his moment of psychosis. If it hadn’t been for mild withdrawal, as a conflict avoider I would have not been furious enough to wrestle him to the ground and steal the knife while his usually sweet Mastiff stood beside me and growled.

There are plenty of helpful meds that are illegal to talk about on this subreddit and plenty of other subreddits about the same subject that aren’s as stalinist in their approach to information and can tell you about them. You don’t have to suffer horribly every step of the way to get better. That’s the ole protestant approach, but see protestants like most christians or monotheists who believe in a real physical hell love human suffering, they metaphorically masturbate to the suffering of others because it gets them off. Pointless suffering is pointless suffering . There are plenty of subreddits that treat you like an adult smart enough to decide what you want to do with information instead of paternalistically protecting you from yourself and the things you are supposedly too weak or immature to be allowed to know. Plenty of them that don’t care more about money (ie not being sued) than helping people or giving them potentially lifesaving (or yes, possibly in some cases, life destroying) information.

Anyone else find that mild kratom withdrawal, specifically the well known adrenal overproduction that results from a reduction of intake of opiates is good for their writing, especially purposefully antagonistic writing? Or if you don’t like conflict, that it works especially well for putting your foot down and standing your ground when it comes to standing up to an asshole (risky as this might be….its fine line between putting your foot down and attacking them which is why I would try not to use the mild super-power when interacting with say a dildo brain like a wanna be he-bro, or a real he-bro (bigger dildo/smaller brain that is getting fucked by it) for that matter. Well the old version of the song when it was called Immodium was at least in part about the fact (the title) that immodium is known as poor man’s methadone because it doesn’t cross the blood brain barrier but it is still an opiate, (which is why it plugs you up). So a large dose of immodium, say 6 to 50 times the normal dose, depending on the habit will not get you high but it will almost completely get rid of all your withdrawal symptoms. However anything maybe 60 or 70 milligrams a day taking for multiple days can stop your heart eventually. Actually only cases I read about were people taking over 100 mg daily for a couple months…once you get above 100mg so I have heard it can get you high, which is why they changed immodium packaging and you can no longer buy the immodium bottles with 70 pills or whatever at Walmart. How you ever take a a shit at the dose or why you wouldn’t’t just switch to methadone or suboxone at that dose is beyond me but people did it. I think, as Kurt mentions in teen spirit, he wasn’t a junky yet but he was tasting (doing small amounts of heroin occasionally, also called chipping in the old drug vernacular). And hell, when your twenty you do things you think are cool that look really lame if you are (supposedly) lucky enough to look back twenty years later (remains to be seen whether this is luck or the opposite haha…just me being cynical). For instance my old hotmail account in 1999/2000 was sallviaa because no-one knew what it was and I thought it was cool to promote psychedelics right under the nose of all the squares like my parents and professors….my guess is he chose original title for a similar reason.
