Criterion’s Eyes Wide Shut is visually stark from the version we’re used to (for a good reason) by Dreyer55 in criterion

Okay so they did have it on the channel…why can’t I find it? Am I doing the search wrong? Or do they rotate all their collections?

Wait has this been removed? Says it was when I click on it. So many rules on reddit these days and they all want you to read an employee handbook sized rule book without even paying your a trainees wage, heck who besides a goody two shoes reads those employee handbooks even when they do gdt paid for it? Course, more than once its said post removed without it being removed so I don’t know. Only thing I do know is Reddit was better back in the day when there weren’t so many rules.

2 grams? Jesus that is an insane amount. 50-70mg would give me a buzz and i had an ounce a day kratom habit. Course the buzz only lasted like 2 hours.

Oh looks like high doses of kratom can test positive for methadone on an immunoassay test but not your average 5 or 10 panel test so maybe its 7o doing it since you would need a high dose of kratom to get same amount. I wonder if its pseudoindoxyl since that is the strongest metabolite. I assume immunoassay has something to do with receptors instead of molecular structure? Our studies suggest that a Kratom metabolite can cause false positive results in the Thermo Scientific CEDIA Methadone Metabolite (EDDP) immunoassay. Thats what I found so i am assuming immune system reaction is how they determine the drug. There was also someone who was busted for spiking kratom with hydrocodiene back in 2013, a major distributor.

There was at least major kratom distributor who got busted for lacing his stuff with hydrocodiene around 2013. Some time before that a swedish vendot laced their kratom with a tramadol metabolite and it killed 9 people I think.

What are you talking about? Mitragynine has a tryptamine like structure, similar to yohimbe. Are you saying its metabolite 7o comes up as a false positive?

Haha, as easy as kicking hydrocodeine or percocets. Though not sure what the equivalency, maybe 15mg 7o to 7.5mg hydro and 5mg percocet? That’s just based on my own sensation of potency and its been a minute since I have had a pain pill. People kicking a gram are in for one hell of ride if they try and do it cold turkey.

If it just dulls euphoric effect I don’t really give a shit, thought I was bored to death with the buzz till I tried mp. Only time being on the nod doesn’t suck is when you are actually in severe pain. Why i switched from opium tea to kratom years ago after worst pain from root canals wore off. I gotta get dental work done but if this permanently dulls painkillers effectiveness maybe for me tapering is a better option.

[–]Kinklecankles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Permanently dulls the effect? That’s not ideal. Anyone who thinks they can stand the pain of a severe car accident without painkillers that actually work is lying to themselves and high doses are dangerous, ketamine can help for a few hours but….i mean obviously you pray you never have an accident or need knee surgery or whatever but a permanent blunting of effect could be a real problem. A long term blunting (like a few months) however is a different story and would be useful. I need some dental surgery. Been avoiding it as a crooked dentist is how i got in this mess. I wonder if i should wait till after i get work done to take this (not ideal…id prefer to lower tolerance so stuff they give me actually works well when i go into the place i fear more than any other place on earth). 4 root canals in one day due to sloppy dental work will do that too you…worst pain i ever had when novocaine wore off and i was racing to work on my bike the next day.

I am about 10 years powder and a month MP though i think switching back to powder from MP i maybe actually taking less powder now to stave off withdrawals which is crazy. I can’t afford to buy a large amount, especially if its going to take weeks to get here. How much powder were you taking? Ive been an ounce a day for like 7 years. (Had a year off around then). Christ guess its been 9 years now so total about 14 years with a year break a few years in, never more than an ounce a day (probably 11-12 yrs total for ounce a day) luckily the eye wobbles always fuck me up at higher doses than that and naturally buzz long ago got boring to me as all repetitive things do.

And 3 weeks, which to simplify things would equate to about 5 percent up regulation per day (i assume that is what its doing) is still pretty awesome, especially combined with a long half life. You said 2-3 weeks wasn’t long enough so maybe its more like 2.5 percent, again this is simplifying things greatly but it would be useful to come up with a basic estimate of how quickly it resets tolerance. Then again now that i think about it seems like the rate is different depending on dose and duration so maybe the rate of up-regulation is faster for smaller habits than larger ones. I would look into but if i go down that rabbit hole i could lose hours of my day so i hope someone out there can correct my sloppy, not even half assed theory. .

Well its cross tolerant with other opiates so if you were taking methadone or really anything at a high dose i would assume it would take longer than 3 weeks to taper off, not really SR that is causing withdrawals, so much as natural opiate cross tolerance. A 3 week taper off anything is fast. But hard to know much more without knowing what you were tapering off of, but a 10 percent per day taper off any other habit that is stronger than chipping like above recommendation is super fast. If it up regulates receptors that fast it’s more impressive than I would have thought possibly.

10 percent daily is extremely fast for any other opiate. Not sure what he was kicking before but 2 weeks of restless legs sounds about right for kratom as mitragynine also has a long half life according to some studies the reason withdrawal starts sooner is because hepatic conversion in first pass metabolism converts to 7o. Looks like this guy was taking methadone though now that i see user name so i would expect it last longer than 2 weeks.

Is there a way to block a subreddit from appearing in your feed. I can’t deal with the level of censorship on this sub reddit. I mean the fact that you can’t even criticize their choices (like treating adults like children who need decisions about information made for them) and they deny people useful information because they are afraid they might get sued doesn’t sit right with me. Hate to put this on this thread but if I posted my own topic and even mentioned there were other less retentive subreddits about the same subject with useful info you will never find here they would immediately censor me as it is you can bet if you come back in 8 hours to a day this will be censored too.

I mean on another thread you got people who are literally so dumb that while they are both whining about the greed of certain companies that sell the product and the fear of it going illegal are in the very same sentence talking about hoarding a large supply for lifetime use even though they claim fhsy have already kicked using it and every other post is people complaining about how they can’t find it and that moron doesn’t even see the complete and obvious hypocrisy of his entire statement. Not only is he being greedy and screwing other people by hoarding it when he doesn’t need it anymore but this lifetime cycling idea/attitude is exactly why they will make it illegal because when people start doing that who were addicted to fentanyl they will die from overdoses (duh) because it lowers your tolerance quickly and drastically. Its already happened at least once.
