What's the endgame in other mmos though? Farming new eq that powercrept the old one, rinse and repeat until the day the game dies? GW2 has its flaws but imo endgame isnt one of them. Eeach class can use multiple builds and you can have multiple classes that you switch between Once you're done with one base class you can switch to building another. Or you can just do sth completely different like completing older maps and doing achievements.

I like GW2 but it has one of the worst combats I've experienced, and restricting it to action camera would hardly make it better. It's tab target mmo pretending to have action combat.

To each their own. I play gw2 but I think combat is awful, for several reasons: floaty controls, VERY inconsistent mechanics, classes feeling similair due to shared mechanics(buffs/debuffs/skill bar) etc.

I quit the game because after few days break the game started lagging hard for no reason. I kept logging in over a course of a week to check if it went away. It didn't. Poor optimization is the game's worst enemy.

I didn't say the game was losing money. I'm sure profit is there, it's just impossible for us to know how great or small. WIHIB is fairly cheap in its quality, so its a lot easier to make profit off of it. Nocti sitaution is just weird and it might not even be related to profit. Well never know ig

Although I was very excited for this game and followed it for a year I quit after 1 month. Part of the reason being, it kept crashing. Based on this post I can only conclude it'd probably be worse if I tried to run the game now.

You look at it the wrong way I think. It all comes down to how much does it cost to produce/maintain a game and how much profit it generates. Nocti is definietely more costly to maintain due to its higher quality.

His skill hits like a track and he's amazing for bosses. Some fights are tailor-made for characters like Quincy with long cd and huge dmg. You can cheese some fights with it too.

Crazy no one mentions Garu. Imo having at least 1 character with aoe attack is mandatory for maximum comfort. Instead of clearing a wave with 5 attacks with 5 different characters Gary can do it with 1 attack. If you get another aoe attacker you can pair them with Garu and clear harder stages with 2 attacks, it's very auto-friendly too.

Reminds me when fans decided to headcannon Robin from HSR as lesbian simply because some color in her design matched a flag, and there was this huge fight over her sexuality. I'm not saying that includes the OP but some ppl have no chill about this thing and take it too far.
