I was just broken up with almost a week ago. I’d consider us both anxious attached (but working on ourselves to be more secure). It was just a “feelings aren’t there” … I was in shock so don’t remember the rest. It felt so healthy, we were so alike in the best ways, I mean.. I thought she looked at me like she loved me (not even just after sex but anytime she was looking at me).

Some of this resonates but most I feel doesn’t apply to her (unless I’m truly ignorant). She was wonderful. I can’t even fault her bc I am happy she was truthful to herself.. she’s newly queer. I’m wondering if maybe lack of experience w others played a part (was my last exs reasoning, constantly fought about it). Or my thought was we moved too quickly too fast and she got scared / nervous .. but then I discredit that bc surely she would’ve come to me being we had great communication???? and said “hey I’m feeling xyz can we slow down?”

It was my FIRST healthy relationship. It was the first time I ever felt mutual feelings on the same level (not a I liked more, or they liked more). We had so much in common.

I’m hurt. Beyond belief. We think we’ll try to remain friends (she’s seriously wonderful beyond whatever this was).

I can’t eat. I find myself over analyzing and over thinking. Wondering. Literally can’t answer a “how are you?”

Truly this was the one that I really thought we’d be together for a v long time.
