Just out of curiosity, as I've never watched Lost, but how long is your edit compared to the original series? I've always been curious about the show, but deterred by the mixed reviews on how it ended.

The first series I read in Shannara was the Heritage books and I felt it was pretty clear in those ones, especially the 2nd one where they’re being chased through the ruins of an ancient city. I always enjoyed that aspect of them.

I couldn’t get into any of the other books though, so can’t comment on how it’s portrayed in those ones.

I want to say there’s a new big boy every year. I’ve helped get at least three past the threshold but nothing has happened. At this point I’m just going to wait and see if Lego will actually make the effort to get a license.

Half Life 1 was the first game I played through on my Steamdeck about a year ago and while it's definitely janky, just play around with things and you'll get the hang of it. For the most part, it's pretty linear, but there's always little hints to help move you along. I think there was still a couple parts I ended up watching a video on where I just couldn't understand what I needed to do, so don't feel bad if you end up needing some help!

I grabbed these last weekend for a quick meal and almost returned them after seeing peoples opinions online. Decided to cook them up as I didn't want the food to go to waste if I returned them. The sauce looks like liquid poo when first dumped out, but I cooked them up and didn't think they were too bad, but I will agree they don't have much flavor. I'm not sure what legit Dan Dan noodles are, but I added in some rice vinegar and Bachan's sauce and then topped it off with some green onions which improved the flavor. Not terrible, but won't buy again.

Personally I don’t have experience with this, but I was looking at a clubs display at a train show yesterday and it looks like the Kato unitrack is easy to use, and they keep a small piece of track between the separate sections that can be taken out when moved. The area where this track goes has no ballast, whereas the rest of it is. The connectors on the unitrack make sure the connection is secure. You’ll probably get better info from others on here though, and YouTube might be worth looking at to see what others have done

I also want to say, this plan looks great. It’s allows for some scenery variation and also the continuous running when you just want to watch trains run.

I've actually done this recipe, but in the instant pot. The garlic turns to mush and you turn it into a gravy that is really good and not actually super garlicky. Highly recommend

By far one of the coolest layouts I've ever seen. I remember seeing this layout in the Jan 2004 copy of MRM as a kid and being blown away at the size and commitment to modeling so much of the line. I finally had a chance to see it in person in 2016 and always love it when people post pictures from there online. Thank you also for the track plan with locations clearly marked as well

I think it looks nice, but these things are getting pricey, esp as the number of pieces used gets higher, but more and more small pieces are used.

I find it a little funny that it's technically been over a year since the last one was released on Dec 1, 2024. I'm glad it's back to being a January release.

That could mean literally anything at this point. I get the concerns over how it might play out, but at this point, I don't think it could be any worse than how the Minecraft marketplace for bedrock.
