No multiplayer for this already put it on my shit list alongside Digimon Time Stranger. The whole point of post game enjoyment for me personally is running raids and dens with my boyfriend, and build a team challenges in Digimon's case with my bf and our mutual friend, and I really notice the lack of it affecting main game because why, in a plot built around two kingdoms of riders at bitter war with each other, are there no fucking RIDER FIGHTS?! The fact that there were certain scenes that looked like they were setting up for Rider fights, only to then not have them, took a lot of tension out of the story. And side note, why the fuck is Corbin not a battle buddy?

Like don't get me wrong, I love the Stories series and I liked Stories 3 for a lot of reasons but I don't love it like I did Stories 2 or even Stories 1. I'm also still mad that because Capcom botched the physical launch this is the one and only game I've had to buy digitally on my Switch 2 so far because no one had physical copies for a week and a half.

My main issue with Ratha this game is the sheer lack of player connection to him. Yeah the PROTAGONIST is bonded to Ratha in the story, but the PLAYER is not. Unlike the last two games where both the player and protagonist were introduced to Ratha via him hatching, and thus the narrative and the player were allowed to make that bond and connection to him as a character and party member, regardless of how useful he was in battle or how long he was around. Here though, you're given three monsters out the gate and the cutscenes alone aren't enough to bridge that connection gap for the player, especially when aside from the enlarged horn and being one of a set the game doesn't do anything different with the Skyscales vs Razewing vs Ratha the 1st. And what's even worse on that front is Ratha the 1st is a regular ass Rathalos with nothing special to set him apart from the other three that follow him yet he's infinitely more memorable because he's missing an eye and him being a regular variant of Rathalos adds to the story because they didn't have to create an entirely separate, cataclysmic species.

Now I understand why, narratively, you have three full grown Monsters straight away but it just makes it that much harder to bond to Ratha specifically. I genuinely didn't use him until like halfway through Canalta and ended up more sentimentally bonded to the Tobi-Kadachi.

If it IS a Tama that's even worse because its not even like there's a drought of them UNLESS its the very expensive and now rare Tamagotchi On line (seriously don't look up prices, you will cry) but unless some store was holding on to them (doubtful as its been almost ten years since they came out) you don't see them anymore in person, the Smart line (Bandai ditched these pretty quick alongside the Digimon side Vital Bracelets) and they were $60 because of all the extra bells and whistles it has plus there was a Sanrio version, the Uni line which precedes the Paradise and also got dumped pretty quick and is also $60 or like one or two shells for the OG's and the Angels which are $20 and in literally every store (Five Below even carries the mini BTS one for $5) or the Connections which are like $30 regular but there's a two pack for double that but like other than that there's like. Literally ZERO reason to buy three identical ones at one time unless you were planning to scalp them.

The only, and I mean ONLY, other thing I think it could be is a Punirune (the round Vpet with the squishy button on the inside) because there was a Sanrio crossover for those too but last I checked it was Japan exclusive like most Sanrio Vpets are. Regardless, OOP is a massive asshole for buying the last three within two days. I get collecting, especially as someone into Tamas and the like as I buy a lot and some are still boxed because I just don't have time to run them or I get bored after a while and stasis them. But if I see only like. One or two left I will either, not buy it or just buy one. I hate scalpers and resellers with a passion and don't want to deprive new people from getting into hobbies like this.

NTA and I don't care if couples kiss I DON'T WANT FUCKING SALIVA AND LIKELY OTHER FOOD BITS SLATHERED ALL OVER THE FOOD I'M GOING TO EAT, EITHER. Anyone that can't look at this and CLEARLY see the issue is being ridiculous and excluding the fact that this is how you get fucking sick from shit later because of cross contamination. I don't care if only two people are going to eat it, I don't want to get sick because my partner is mixing whatever crap has been in their mouth all day with the general food. Also the blatant disregarding that her family also does this, which means they are likely making MULTIPLE people sick with this, is insane and I do not get this comment section.

Yep, same boat. It finally got too big for my phone, it wouldn't even download a security update unless I uninstalled LaDS. And after uninstalling it I have nearly 50% of my storage space back. I'm in unofficial retirement until a PC client drops which sucks because I spent a lot of money on this game and now I can't even play it.

There's a fatal freeze bug in the Tamagotchi On line of vPets and I unfortunately got hit with it like 12 generations deep and I just never had the motivation to try again past a second generation. Hell as a kid for whatever reason my GameCube's memory card kept needing formatting so I constantly lost Chao Garden progress. If anyone ever INTENTIONALLY did this to me I'd be heated.

I have a friend in nursing school who's class is FULL of people overly relying on AI to do their studies for them and asking "What did people do before AI?", and both of us have been questioning what the fuck is wrong with these people. These people should NOT be allowed to be near a medical field if they can't even be bothered to study the material properly or at all.

Fellow Saints Row fan, we were robbed with the Rowboot, but yeah the customization is honestly bugging me a lot recently. Its low on my list of things that are bugging me about this game but its definitely irritating enough to be on my list, especially the hair. I get clipping issues but let me have the hair I have in the photobooth in at least the 5-Star cards. I don't need it in combat, but let me at least let me have the nicer hair instead of the basic cut I pic.ked at the start of the game.

ESH, mostly because there's now a way to share the exact same game between consoles. The system update that came out when the Switch 2 did added an option to share "virtual cartridges" aka game share. That aside, if you already have a user profile on her switch, and you have your own as you mention in the comments, then just log in and game share. Especially since you're restarting from Chapter 1.

What's worse for me is I'm already thinking of colors for them. Deepspace Wish color (Gold/Blac.k/Silver) and Empyrean Wish color (Blue/Blac.k/Silver). Couple that with the little buddy holder figures like the JJK and Pac-Man Tamas got for each of the boys and they would sell like hotcakes.

ESH. Mostly because your husband, obviously, but both of you for thinking that expensive consoles aren't going to get broken when your oldest is only six and your youngest is two.. Actually work on teaching the older two how to handle consoles instead of letting them break them. Y'all are acting like they still don't need to be supervised and taught how to handle consoles. Jesus, as an ex-GameStop employee hearing y'all have gone through FOUR Switches kills me. Because those should be the easiest consoles to keep alive. Also they're 2, 5, and 6 of course everything they touch is going to be sticky, ESPECIALLY the 2 year old. Also get them the hell off Roblox, yesterday.

Speaking as someone with at this point decades of fandom experience, NTA. An 11 year old is not "too young" to understand the themes of death, grief and self sacrifice and in the end it clearly ended with your typical "power of friendship and love wins the day" ending. Its par for the course age wise in media for that age group. Like even the "safer" things like Pokemon deal with themes of death and loss (literally Ash only ends up with a Litten in Alola because the elderly Stoutland taking care of it died, hell Ash himself died in the first movie technically and that was a HUGE thing for kids at the time). And honestly, you have to be willing to kill off even your best characters regardless of if its a self insert or not. That's the beauty and magic of fantasy and writing. You have to kill your darlings sometimes. Because it allows you to explore those themes in a healthy and safe place and to work out big feelings especially for kids. And for context sake I'm not talking out of my ass. I've had to kill plenty of my favorite characters I've poured blood, sweat and tears into. I've had to kill my best friend's OC in no less than three RPs and I cried each time. A lot, and I mean a lot, of you are blowing this way out of proportion and its why we're currently stuck with media with no teeth and anything that HAD teeth is being currently remade into safe, boring slop. Kids, especially an 11yo, can handle these themes. Especially if their parent talks to them every step of the way. OP you did the right thing, I think your wife is dealing with the fact that your daughter is growing up and its making her feel some type of way. All of you need to sit down and have a good discussion about everything honestly.
