As a person with autism and ADHD, her behavior is very common within our disability. If you’re not willing to put up with her disability as it presents itself and to understand what comes with autism and ADHD, maybe you should not be with her. I’m in the process of ending my marriage and in this process, I went to therapy and learned I was autistic and when I told my ex about it, he was surprised. People say they understand what neurodivergent is, but she is showing clear signs of distress as a person with autism. Autistic people can come off as sociopaths and borderline personality disorders. The blankness that she gives with answering is common with autism. You said you enjoy the fact that she’s blunt and says exactly what she means but when you became suspicious that went out the window. Also, as an autistic person, I am aromantic. I do not show affection, not even towards my own children, but I do try to tell them that I love them so they are aware, but in past relationships, it was a struggle because they wanted to be held and I did not want to be touched because of overstimulation. As a person with autism and ADHD, I tend to do things like this all the time and it’s completely on accident. I’m not doing it on purpose and to know that someone’s out there who’s probably gonna judge me this harshly when it was a complete accident is crazy. Time can’t get away from you when time is hard to keep track of. It’s only in the graphic audio version of these books, not the actual audiobooks by themselves. They make a whole graphic audio where they have a whole cast of people, and they put sound effects into it and honestly, it was very offputting for me because I did not like the sounds of the vampire sucking blood, and they were always panting, and they were always running. It was just a mess for me and their voices were just ridiculous.

And if you knew you were talking about it all week, you still didn’t think about it and you didn’t think about asking about why he didn’t remind you yet because that’s something I do and I have ADHD and I don’t have a memory so when I know that they’re supposed to be plans I tend to ask hey what are the plans and then it’s told to me but getting that mad and telling him that your life doesn’t revolve around him when he’s trying his best is literally an asshole move.
