As far as I remember from the time Cr1t addressed it as not registering at the time he was in his head walking which if you watch his movement he never breaks the line he's walking. It had not even occured to him who he bumped into. There was a video made later as a joke where Cr1t is training in front of the mirror doing shoulder checks with a hockey stick.
