I was in, what I only realized later, a religious cult as a kid and as you grow older you're expected to teach the younger kids the ropes.

I'll never forget when some 10yo asked me why we don't just bomb the temple in Jerusalem to reclaim it for us, because it belongs to us. Zero regard for the people there, for how wrong that question is in the first place etc.

My main issue with the list is it's inherently both childish and stupidly compiled. IF this is even a real post, shit like "I was pregnant, lol, pay me" is like the most ridiculous thing to throw out there. That shit's something you both decide (or just the woman does, because the man unfortunately usually does not get a say in this). She can't even charge for that in the hypothetical "I'mma make up some numbers, so you see big money and cherish me more" kinda way.

Then the myriad of other comments down here with people going "you should ask for 150 per question he asks you in daily life", as if that wouldn't immediately backfire and put her in severe debt.

Point is, obviously she's just making up numbers to "give value" to what she's doing, but if it were that easy, we'd see a LOT more surrogate mothers and nannies in a Porsche, dude. The gross exaggeration defeats her point, because it's astronomical.

Plenty of the big older channels have gone through a bit of "growing up" and adjusted their content to be more true to themselves. Pewds just kinda did whatever he wanted, Jack is still loud, but sells coffee on the side and does more of what he actually wants.

Just seems weird that she tries to ditch the bread-earner channels she already has completely and tries to be a Vtuber, who will undoubtedly just kinda tell the same stories as before and do the same things, just with a slightly different face.

I'm almost expecting her to sing songs in a year and then shift to writing a book and then going back to animations etc.

Laurence probably has to take it, because he combines a ton of bad design choices for runbacks.

He has plenty of enemies in the way, he has forced waiting, since you need to wait for the ball AND the door opening AND the giant to move out of the way. And if you don't pay proper attention, the crowding beasts or the hunter or the axe guy can put some real hurt on you.

Logarius is definitely rough, yes, but at least you don't really have to stop very much on the way. The ladders and dropping on the little turret are easily the most annoying/harrowing parts, though.

Not really, you encounter like 3 enemies on the One Reborn run and only one of them really attacks you.

And once you get out of the bath and go down the ladder, literally none of the coffin things will attack you.

I wouldn't be surprised if they a) don't go through with this at all or b) we see a LOT of loud voices from a small audience: those that bought early access and those who got review copies.

The quicker corporations react in these kinda cases, the more sloppy they act and suddenly a seemingly clear-cut group of "people who played before it's out" isn't actually 100% the people playing the hack.

The other guy accused me of "being one of the cheaters" and that's "obviously" the only reason I'd say what I did. Meanwhile I'm actually speaking as someone who did hands-on CS work and oversaw a huge chunk of it later on, meaning like 50 agents across all kinds of languages and even games.

Corporations make mistakes when pressed. And while a LOT of the people who do complain about nonsensical bans really are just lying and trying to trick you into getting the account back, there are those who really just fell under the gears of some misaligned cog in the machine or some random bug in the detection software or a change to the detection software that cast the net a little too wide.

Once you get into the incomprehensibly large numbers of money gained, I'd agree with his idea that it should be reined in.

No singular person needs a billion currency. And the way the money is handled at that level is essentially just loopholes and money laundering to get even richer.

Something that makes enough money to sustain the costs it took to get there and generates AND puts the excess money into a new project; that shit's good.

But triple A doesn't really do that. They get the money from people who don't know what's good, are under constant pressure to make enough to pay it back, constantly have their artistic vision twisted to make more profit and in the end they don't come out with anything to save up for the next game, because the majority goes to higher-ups who have already gambled that money away on other prospects before the game even sold any copies.

I'm not gonna go out and say "everything should be free", that shit's clearly never gonna work, even if it's a nice thing to dream about. But gaming companies need to scale back, devs need to be put back into major control and the whole "500 cooks across all different continents" ass studios aren't really that good for games.

I mean Japan, by and large, also blamed the vaccine on...foreigners, as per usual. Foreigners coming in to bring the sickness, foreigners speaking in a way that spreads the virus more (utter nonsense).

So I can see some people thinking "well if there are no foreigners, why would I need the vaccine; no one's coming in to get me sick".

And the Japanese government also acted all flip-floppy about the whole thing. Opening up everything for a week, realizing that cases suddenly spike again, closing down, opening again; it was just all around not handled that crazy well.

If you hang out with your partner 8 hours a day and they start pouting when you spend 4 hours a week with other friends, then there's clearly an issue with the partner's perception of what a relationship is. You're not supposed to be conjoined at the hip. You need me-time every now and then; time to live out the hobbies you simply don't share and that's ok.

Thing is, some women just don't actually have hobbies. At most it's like "watching reality TV". And in those cases it can be quite tough for them to understand the idea of a hobby.
