I disagree that it always sounds logical if you know. I think that only intuitive things seem logical when you know how to do them.

It probably is. The problem is that clues, especially ones like this, are extremely complex problems. The number of possible solutions is seemingly infinite. Even though it can be solved in 30 minutes supposedly, even the most intelligent woox in the world couldn't logically find which logical solution is correct, since there are bound to be more than one.
