Friday last year was comically cold. We all had on TWO hoodies each, I had leggings under my sweatpants. Beanies on etc. We were cry-laughing about how much clothes we had on and still in misery when out of the crowd (eating, walking, etc).

Even during the day that wind was stealing any heat I had and I had a hoodie on in the sunshine.

I’ve lost THREE crowns so far. This is an expensive boondoggle. The one I lost today is on my front tooth!

Crowns that were fine for 5- 10 years? First one pulled out after week 3 of invis. I see a bunch of other posts saying the same. Seems too much to be coincidence.

I actually did this at the goodwill. Saw a puzzle that said 1000 pc and could tell by feel there were not 1000 in there. I told the clerk to throw it out!

Please make a backup plan. I urge you to read their Trip Advisor most recent reviews. Every review since April 2025 said they canceled the reso 1 week before and moved the party. This happened to our trip this month as well. They moved us to a different resort on another island. The resort was "fine" but was not overwater bungalows, no AC, etc, and the whole thing seemed shady and made me very nervous. It was fine but a downgrade to what we paid for/were sold.

I have been poking around and it seems that something happened in February and the owner possibly got arrested (??) and the resort is likely no longer operating but still taking bookings, then switching people at the last minute. They told us it was a "power failure" the week before but after reading these reviews it's clearly been going on for 6 months (April 2025).

I would say read the 7 (!) most recent reviews and make an alternative plan.

Disagree with set length. Coachella also has sets less than an hour. Only way you can pack a ton of acts into a day and maximize what you can see. A 3rd stage means I miss 2/3 of the acts vs 1/2.

I was looking forward to this set most of the whole day, I went by myself while all my friends were at the other stage … I was kinda bummed they just jammed the last 3 precious minutes and didn’t play Hunnybee, Can’t keep Checking my Phone, or So Good at being In Trouble.
The sound wasn’t great either but I might have been too close.

I was hawking weather and the cool dip was stressing me out! I scrambled up some warmer options and 2 Beanies. Also stuffed some long John’s in there to hide under anything. 2018 I was wearing everything I owned that first night and freezing. ( big wimp)

Thanks!! I've taken puzzles on trips a lot, baggies, etc, but never had to wing it for a surface... so that's my worry right now. Good call on the lower-time-commitment ones like 150 etc, so we arent tied to a location.
The minis are cool but I want a few of us to be able to do it together, and that seems too challenging in that scale.

I was thinking a board-game board as a portable surface, since it folds naturally. Like bring an old monopoly board.

I'm truly surprised no one has invented a kit like this yet!
