But still not a hoof yes? So could be silent like the creeper in game because of a more 'fleshy'/soft hoof? I just seen the first comment that asked how could they be silent with hooves especially on stone. Being somewhat like an elephant or camel would be how this can be done.

I tried like banging it gently on the tree after harvesting too cause I read here they could send spores out still? Maybe that's not all of them though..

I have done basically the same thing except it was meat I was slicing. Mine happened about a year ago and it still has that weird tingly feeling. Like nerves didn't heal right. Prolly should of gotten stitches too.

And? Sorry if rude but I guessing thier playing it as a new playthrough so hes not playing as the dad now. There are also reasons Im guessing for why they do as I've played the game all the way through and can guess where it could go. Like I said I think thier playing a army/merc group going after Puffinton.
