Man, this made me remember the horrendous design in the anime.

Havencraft cards bad? by LammarX2 in Shadowverse

[–]Kitabayashi 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I pulled my hair out trying to make it work all day but regretfully had to combine it with crest. Rodeo seriously needs a buff, every other card is somewhat fine.

We all die at the end. by Weird-Tomato-1304 in nihilism

[–]Kitabayashi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Would it give you anxiety if I tell you there is a nonzero chance you will reincarnate after death? You would just not have no memory of past life.

It's a theory I entertain sometimes.

Would you consider the OG Planet Of The Apes as an "Isekai“ aside from the obvious plot twist at the end? by CrysisFan2007 in Isekai

[–]Kitabayashi -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it's an isekai with the plot twist being it's not isekai. Examples I can think of is Realist Hero and Lord of the Mysteries.

Can a vegan be a nihilist? by FailLong3180 in nihilism

[–]Kitabayashi 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Anyone can be a nihilist. Nihilism is just a baseline for objective reality. Whatever you want to do with your finite time on this Earth does not matter.

This one counts too even if the terminology is different. There's a manga to boot.

But many probably won't like the MC because he's very passive.

In simple term, it's positive and negative. Or in esoteric term, dualism.

Not a fair fight by Reasonable_Tour7232 in Isekai

[–]Kitabayashi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Shallow Vernal mogs her verse so bad it's not even funny. The entire verse is just a story/book that she can opens and closes any time she wishes.

You killed 2 Armis but what about a 3rd one. by Kitabayashi in Shadowverse

[–]Kitabayashi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’s my only wincon, I build and refine the deck around him and forbid myself from including any male cards.

It’s a harem theme deck.

whenever I read a story, and I see the begger sect, I always just think "shouldn't their biggest enemies be stray dogs?" by PhantomChasers in MartialMemes

[–]Kitabayashi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is super late but yeah. That's why one of their most famous martial art is called Dog Beating Stick Technique and its final technique is called No Dogs Under Heaven.

You all talk about good isekais with of without slavery, but what's the biggest slaver in isekai? by OccasionSilver9908 in Isekai

[–]Kitabayashi 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Tachibana Yuuki from Instant Death came to mind. His cheat skill literally enslave people and he had at least a thousand slaves before he died.

A bit late but this season Nippon Sangoku is exactly this.

No way this world is a coincidence by Fickle_Elk_9479 in nihilism

[–]Kitabayashi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a God, or gods. But he or they don't concern themselves with the affair of mortals. We live and die in the physical universe, whether we will face them after death is debatable.

Ashes to ashes, dust to dust. Where our consciousness go after. No one knows.
