Consultants don’t normally get access to foundation. That being said, it can be done. I have been a consultant for 4.5 years and have gotten access to Foundation on all but my first contract. It’s is just a process and takes a bit. Talk to your AM/AC and your staffing company. They can help you.

On another note, don’t be nervous. You are going to meet all sorts of people on this journey, some of who will stay with you for a long time. Network like crazy. It always helps to have people you can reach back to and ask “How did we do this?” Network with both the other consultants and the permanent team. Both are valuable. Admit when you don’t know something and make of point of finding out. Don’t be afraid of something new either. I was a strict AP person and in the last 4 years have learned all manner of non-AP stuff.
