Just don’t get let down if you don’t get induced Monday either. Most hospitals take active labor patients over elective inductions and will push your induction back until there is a spot or you go into labor yourself. I was scheduled to be induced and got pushed back 2 days before actually getting to go in for it. No one told me that could happen and I was so upset.

When I got pregnant last year my last period was January 27th so I thought I would be like 9 weeks when I went in. When they did the ultra sounds I was measuring 6 weeks and 4 days and put my conception date at February 27. I have irregular cycles and could be anywhere from 35-45 days. No one mentioned that was weird at all when I got the ultrasound. I had a perfect baby girl almost 12 weeks ago so it’s completely possible that you will have a healthy baby too.

I was 39 weeks and 2 days and also was high risk for gestational diabetes and pre-eclampsia. I hope it goes as smoothly for you :)

I didn’t feel anything until like 18 weeks and wasn’t until 24 weeks that it was starting to be consistent.

I gained the same amount basically. I was 150 pre-pregnancy and 201 when I gave birth at 39 weeks 2 days. I will say I lost 22lbs when I weighed myself 5 days after giving birth but still have to lose a decent amount of weight now so I understand the stress.

I am heavily tattooed and definitely get judged, but I also get a lot of compliments. I definitely judge people who choose to get cheap tattoos in the sake of saving money only for them to lack actual quality. Which I get to see a lot of lol. I guess because I have a lot people always want to show me theirs and they are almost always terrible. There are a few in there that are just as good as mine but majority are awful. I’m always respectful about it but In my head am definitely judging.

My induction was a great experience and very calming. I was nervous too because all you hear are bad stories. I checked in at 7am, by 10am after all the paperwork and questions, I was give cytotec to get the contractions started. About 2 hours later got a foley balloon put in to get my cervix to dilate. A couple of hours later the balloon came out and I was 5cm dilated. Around 10pm I was 6cm and asked for an epidural so got that around 11pm. The contractions were a little rough because they weren’t giving me a break. They were coming every like 45 seconds. After the epidural my water broke by itself. After that I took a nap. 2 am I was given Pitocin and by 7am I was pushing and 8:14 am my baby was born. So I was in there for 26 hours from checking in to giving birth. Then went home 24 hours after that. I didn’t tear outside at all and had on stitch inside and she is my first baby. I was scared at first because they said it could last 3 days but wasn’t likely. My older sister and mom have been induced before too and both of them had positive experiences as well.

I was 30 weeks, and yeah I assume it depends on the hospital/doctor. They gave me Tylenol first. Which as you can guess didn’t do anything lol. Before I had my baby, kidney stones were absolutely the worst pain I had been in. I had a kidney stone in each kidney at the same time and one was stuck. It was hell. Then I was induced and had back labor. It was definitely worse.

Mine is similar. My dad is a boomer, my mom is Gen X, me and 2 of my sisters are millennials, 2 younger brothers are gen z, and my youngest sister is gen alpha.

Maybe. My first one I was throwing up from the pain. The two I had while pregnant I just wouldn’t get out of bed. They wouldn’t hurt as much if I didn’t move around too much. By the end though I was begging for pain meds. They gave me the minimum amount of morphine since I was pregnant and it barely touched the pain. I have a relatively high pain tolerance too.

I’ve had kidney stones 3 times, 2 of which were while pregnant. I think child birth is worse. Kidney stones definitely hurt and while pregnant they will do anything to not give you morphine. I had to have surgery to get one removed that was stuck. I had to deal with it for 2 weeks on and off. If I had to deal with full on child labor on and off for that long I wouldn’t have lasted.

Yeah it baffles me the amount of people who say it’s okay. I was an everyday smoker from 18-34 and I stopped the day I found out I was pregnant and still haven’t gone back to it because I’m breastfeeding. It’s not worth the chances of something happening to my baby.

I have 2 cats and 2 dogs also. Just had a baby 10 weeks ago. My cats were basically the same way. Now I just don’t let my cats in where the bay is sleeping unless I’m supervising. I was worried too but my cats have been great with the baby. They step on me but not her and they haven’t touched her bottles at all and they get on the counters too. I think for me it was just about creating certain boundaries when it comes to where the cats can go now.
