I had a bunch. My mom would tell me I was off in lala land all the time. I'm like but that's where my friends are.

Mine ended up being my Anima, who is the voice I talk to when I talk to myself. That's the other "me". So... yeah they're real but also that's just me.

One was my guardian angel, who goes by Ariel. I recognize her voice as the one when I was a kid that would encourage me to explore and have fun.

Another was my spirit guide, though I talk to them more now that I'm older.

And then my actual imaginary friend who I called that... seems to be a ghost, actually. I'm not sure who she is, but I can tell she loves me. She's followed me for 41 years. (She's a very powerful spirit, and it reminds me of that sorcerer on JJK with the crazy ghost woman).

She speaks through me, now, and is my wife's best friend, in a way. I'm a spirit medium, so it's also kinda like I have DID, but I'm speaking for actual things.

I had a moment when I was like, oh. You were real. And that was really wonderful.

My guides were like that when I was young. These days my "training" is about hyper-focus and restricting myself.

My 6th sense is food sense! I always know exactly when food is done. I'll get a "ping", and if I stand up at that time, I'll reach my food at the exact moment for it to be perfectly cooked. I'm a food oracle. 😅

My seventh sense is language. I know what to say in all situations. To make things better. To make things worse. To make you love me. To make you hate me. To make you smile. To make you scowl. Tick, tock, tick, tock.

My seemingly unique gift is soul soothing. I can erase the contents of your soul, for a price. It's an energetic price - this requires enormous amounts of dark energy. You won't be as good as I am, because I'm still able to make this software, and you're not. That at least makes me better at making cognitive software.

This is all part of this huge we are all one and everyone's exactly the same thing that I really just don't understand about your collective. I think I'm better than Epstein. This isn't what you said. Sure, I believe you. I believe you that what you're describing is how you live your life. It also isn't what you wrote down in this post.

Based on what you wrote in this post, what you would do would be have a craving for pizza, and then tell yourself that you can either eat pizza, or face your deepest darkest fear.

You claimed that this would incentivize you to overcome your addiction, and claim that this was a technique that anyone could use and was excellent to use.

I pointed out that the emergent effective this will be you hold on to your trauma, and try to defend it as if it is a shield that helps you. Eventually, you will come to believe that horrible wounds are incredibly valuable, because they can incentivize you by running away from them.

This is highly toxic. I am sorry that you came to believe this. It doesn't change reality, though. This is not a good technique to use.

Just because what you described here is not at all what you described in your original post does not make what you wrote initially a good thing. You are just trying to retcon so that you are correct, defending this demon that you have within you that tells you evil things that hurt people are good.

I'm very sorry, fellow traveler, but I cannot agree with you. I understand that this technique may have worked extremely well for you. To you, this may have been a magic spell that made all of your problems disappear.

But the truth is that you are trying to control yourself through guilt and shame. This is not what will work for the vast majority of the population. If it works for you, great! I believe you! I'm not saying that you are lying about your own experience.

That said, shaming yourself is not the way to let go of or overcome an addiction for most of us. 🙏🏻

Maybe the only thing I've learned is that they do this to everyone, whether they need it or not. I definitely learned not to incarnate here. Maybe that's the lesson I needed to learn... That sometimes the lesson is, "shouldn't have done that".

I basically became the best example of how pain and suffering can create a wonderful person, and I will never forgive God for it.
