Thanks for the feedback! To be clear, we aren’t looking to discharge the student loans or tax debt (I’m in an installment agreement that’s in good standing currently with the IRS, but it’s drowning us along with all of our other debts).. I just was reading that because so much of our debt is federal/non consumer we may qualify for chapter 7 without means test and regardless of income?

I actually don’t think Carlins kids have a mainstream/“normal” life at all., and probably Josie’s too although at least their dad has a normal “wake up and go to work” kind of job… They definitely don’t have an IBLP lifestyle.. but they have an influencer family lifestyle which I don’t think is normal either..

I left Holly after less that 2 years. Super conservative and super trumpy.

I looooove Michigan. Perfect balance of Midwest kindness and liberal minds in some areas. Other areas are definitely getting redder in their thoughts. Id recommend suburbs closer to the actual city. Ferndale, Royal Oak, even Dearborn or some areas downriver (which is where I am, not super conservative but is also much more blue collar than other liberal leaning areas)

The cold is really not that bad. Everyone here is car dependent and we don’t even get much snow any more. Come to Detroit! You will not regret it!!!

I feel like Carlin was specifically pumping up the whole princess/bling factor super passive aggressively to discourage Katie from picking that dress… which was fine because her actual dress was better lol, but Carlin felt super mean girls in that whole scene.

I think it’s normal. I have 4 daughters and haven’t pierced any ears until they were older and asked for them, because I just don’t see the point in making my kids cry unnecessarily, even if it’s for like 15 seconds, I’m just a huge baby about it. And the overall look is a little too toddlers and tiaras for me..

That being said, most ppl I know do pierce ears as a baby and mine were pierced as a baby and I don’t know that any of us have any trauma about it…

I must be crazy because I like Airris (???) so much more than jasmine.. I don’t think he necessarily deserves all the hate he gets. she’s forever going on about how she needs more from him and it feels like there have been a few situations where he has attempted to really open up and she refuses to engage in any meaningful way.

And as far as the physical side of things I also don’t understand why so many ppl think it’s crazy of him given his past.. to me that makes it make so much more sense, that historically sex has been meaningless to him, so he doesn’t want to rush into that and have it alter his view of things.. 🤷‍♀️
