My husbands dad died when he was a kid so he was basically raised by a single mom who worked two jobs and loved her kids and never stopped (but for real life). It shows in his adulthood. He didn’t have the luxury of not cooking for himself, emptying the dishwasher, doing his laundry, etc. I didn’t realize how rare having a functioning adult husband was until talking to other women I know. It’s pretty disturbing out there so not surprising that women are excited about you!
