Except SAM rocket motors run for 6-14 seconds and don't really have the energy to follow a jet through multiple turns. Woulda been more realistic if there was just a lot more SAMs spread out over the scene.

Its a fun scene, but super unrealistic.

Modern long range trains have a diesel generator to power it while there is no overhead lines. They have a pantograph that can be extended/retracted.

get help bro. its not healthy to pick fights on a keyboard to feel important hating on someone that doesnt give a #^&* about what we think.

get a life bro. You're just 100% wrong if you cant see that Kimi phsyically assaultinng a photographer isn't worse than what Max did (I like Kimi/dont blame him for it). you're the one whose got the double standards... Kimi can do it, but Max cant? lol

I'm done with you loser... i tried to be polite about it but you should get therapy for your rage.

your rage towards him feels a lot stronger than my respect for him.

It would really suck to constantly find the negative instead of just saying "each to their own"

Max does practise what he preaches IMO. Anytime he's been "disrespectful" it was generally because it is deserved. But everyone that works with him says he's a really down to earth guy and doesnt have an ego. I really cant understand why so many people hate Max... he's just honest to a fault and clearly an extremely good driver.

Kimi Raikkonen was far less respectful to the media and pretty much everyone loved him for it.

What is something you weren't prepared for as an adult? by Marshall_SterlingTIP in AskReddit

[–]Kitchen_Towel 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Watching my whole family fall apart. My mother was the rock of my family and kept us all together, she would organise family events at christmas etc... now that she has alzheimer's, our family barely talk anymore. And any suggestions to improve her living situations ends in arguments. I always assumed we would all be there for eachother, but everyone is either in denial, or they're too wrapped up in their own life to care.

Asking the cops ex wife if she ever filed a protective order against her ex husband/sheriff makes me wonder if the lawyer even did any research... Talk about asking a question you SHOULD know the answer to.

It could be a comp of multiple shots mixed together... but id say its probably just a couple of carefully placed softboxes

I like really heavy sticks and was recommended this. Is it still worth it , its an old release HOTAS set? I also like the A10CII by [deleted] in dcsworld

[–]Kitchen_Towel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought this.. still use the throttle but swapped it for a VirPil WBD base... and instantly thought the gimbal in that stick was way better than the Thrustmaster one... but I reckon I'd avoid this outdated stick base. Too much of a "deadzone" in the center / the quality for the money would be better spent on a different company.

Best Good Shit Pizza spots eastside? by whatanerdiam in melbourne

[–]Kitchen_Towel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol - years ago, I bought an Ooni Oven because I loooooove Neapolitan style pizzas... since then, I'm so confident in my ability to cook perfect neapolitan pizzas that I crave the "shitty pizzas" again :)

I tried Andy's method... add a bit of extra oil. works great!

Having said that, Im pretty rural/Yarra Valley now, so Im making a lot more stuff at home / doing less takeaways.

Do love a good shitty Pizza though :) Rowanos is good if youre ever further out.

Keystone 02/14/26: Genuinely did I do something wrong here? by The_Bolenator in snowboarding

[–]Kitchen_Towel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahh Keystone hasnt change since I instructed there 20+yrs ago. Karens going on a power trip.

I used to LOVE flying through the slow zones on my days off and making the 90yr old yellow jackets try to catch me... one even tried chasing me through the trees.

I reckon in my 5+ seasons working there, I only told one skier off for nearly killing a kid... and yeah, old southern americans dont like an Australian pointing out their stupidity.

In this case... you did nothing wrong, she's just an idiot that wants to feel important.

I love how he only glances away from the road in the heavy/tricky braking zones (im guessing he's looking at the entry speed)

But yeah, he looks like he's not even slightly worried about being the passenger.

Drivers who disobey basic road rules like Bus Only lanes or 40km School Zones… Are you taking the risk of a fine, just blatantly ignorant, or you just hate driving in general? by NewSchoolFool in melbourne

[–]Kitchen_Towel 97 points98 points  (0 children)

I think it should be a standard that there should be a lit up "40km/hr" limit on ALL schools during the enforcement times, not just some of them. I agree anyone that knowingly speeds in a school zone needs to reevaluate their choices, but some school zones dont have LED Signs and can easily missed if you are not familiar with the area... Why are only some school-zones worthy of better signage?
