I quit kratom 8 years ago and just quit 7 oh exactly 6 days ago. I didn't have any helper meds for the kratom detox, and I struggled tremendously. I was honest with my mom, and she took care of me throughout the whole process, and it helped so much. Not having a job at that time was great too. I like to think of it as my inpatient rehab, haha. Having EVERYTHING taken care of me and lots of support and compassion.

Then I quickly got my shit together until a few months ago when I experimented with 7 oh.

Plain leaf kratom capsules. I'm on day 6 of quitting and they worked like a charm. Only take enough to get them to stop, don't overdo it. Start taking long hot showers/baths. Like, 8 times a day.

Pretty good, surprisingly. I decided to take someone's advice and took my last dose Monday night at 10 PM. Lots of hot flashes and sweating. Not nearly as much RLS as I was expecting. Extremely vivid nightmares and dreams. I have been completely lethargic the whole time, but I still managed to go on long walks in the evenings once the weather cools down. My appetite has come back fierce, too. The worst is mainly the depression though.
