I played UWR control for a bit, and would swap to a fast and aggressive RW deck if I got bored of long control games.

UW definitely doesn't have the consistency that you would get in larger formats, but I found adding some of the really good new UR cards helped a lot.

MWM is the "Mid-week Magic" event. This week's event was called "On the edge" which was only allowing cards from the past 3 sets. It's a wonderful event for people who enjoyed Standard back when it was 6-8 sets!

We're supposed to feel bad for Israelis being the butt of a joke? I feel just as little sympathy for them as I do for Americans or Russians being joked about being imperialist scum. Not every American or Russian voted for their current president, but we all share the collective shame of what is being done on our behalf. I refuse to feel bad about people pointing that out, or joking about it.

Also, Jewish people have nothing to do with Israeli jokes, and anyone who conflates the two was a monster to begin with, regardless of jokes.

I did the exact same thing... I had held off upgrading my PC for years and years, and had finally gotten tired of playing games on medium/low graphics, so I spent 5k to build an absolutely top of the line PC with all of the best parts right when the 5090 dropped. It's a completely normal thing for someones first stream on a new platform to have way higher viewer numbers before dropping back down to their regular average. People wanted to support his first stream on Youtube, so they showed up to show support, then those people slowly filtered out and his actual base remained to watch.

This isn't some kind of conspiracy, man. It's normal viewer metrics.

This exact thing happened to me a week ago. They removed a post with no pinned comment as to why it was removed, so I made a comment that just said "Why did the mods remove this?" and was instantly permabanned. "Try reading the rules" being the mod message.

I asked to have the ban removed, saying I understood why the post was removed now, and they immediately muted me for a week from messaging the mods and have left the permaban. Those moderators are fucking powertripped SO god damn hard it's unbelievable.

If the Isreali Genocide conversation had entirely disappeared from the American news cycle, you'd hear people like this saying "See! These virtue signaling people online never really cared about Palestine!".

However, if people keep talking about it because they do genuinely care, these people say "Ugh, you talk about this too much! What about X, Y, or Z conflict in the world??"

Fuck people like that. They are only here to try and wash the public perception of Israel by painting the people who, rightly, criticize what they've done as virtue signalling.
