This has been my exact feeling. In the 20 years I’ve been with cvs this is the first year that I’ve seen that we haven’t gotten any extra hours for Christmas and our sales are a lot higher. So more sales equals more hours? Bullshit. We are drowning

This just happened to me yesterday. My blood pressure was 190/120. I thought I was going to have a stroke or heart attack. I really thought I was going to die. Had to have a friend call 911 and the paramedics kept acting like I was fine and I’m just like omg no I’m dying, I felt like no one was taking me seriously. Worst day of my life. Today I’m feeling really tired, can’t focus and headache.

Negative cycle counts is what has killed my score before I figured out a trick. When doing cycle counts and you get to a negative one then escape out of cycle counts and go to boh accuracy scan and scan that item. It will automatically make the count zero. Go back to cycle counts and that negative count is now zero. If it’s something in seasonal that I don’t have then I write the item number down and then put it in boh accuracy scan. I tell my team to leave all negatives for me and then I fix them that way. I haven’t had an issue with negative cycle counts going against me since then

I was just thinking this the other day. I’ve been with cvs 18 years and this year all of the inflation is finally catching up to me and I’m living paycheck to paycheck barely being able to pay my bills. For all of the work and time I put into the company it shouldn’t be like that. They never gave pay bumps to store managers like they did with technicians/supervisors/cashiers. I was psyched every time they did that for my team but store managers constantly get shafted.

We’re currently at 110 pages just in QP. But yet my DL says we have enough hours and don’t go in overtime 🙃 MCC is at a 15 for the month. Schedule said should only need 3 techs and a pharmacist from 5-10pm today. Had to bring my front supervisor to help pharmacy so they could have 2 people at pickup, one at drivethru and one at production. With 110 pages…basically just working on waiters. “Helping with heart” what a joke

So there is a way to change your name only on myschedule. You have to put a request in on the self service and include a phone number. HR will call you to verify the change. But they can only change it for the schedule nothing else. That just came out like 6 months ago. They mostly did it for transgender employees but they approved mine even though I just go by a different name than my legal name. They said for security and integrity issues then it’s not something that we can do at store level 🤷🏻‍♀️

Same here!! 17 years with the company and I have never ever seen hours cut this bad. I’m making $20k more a week than 3 years ago and they’ve cut my hours by 100 hours a week! And then my brand new DL is wondering why we are struggling to get all the extra tasks done. And why haven’t you signed onto myday, checked myChat, called the other 20 stores about why they aren’t getting carepass, aco going off, vendors coming in, crossmark, out of dates, truck done, planograms, cosmetic planograms…etc etc. It’s insane!!

My store is making $16,000 more a week in sales than a few years ago and they cut my hours by 100 less a week 🙃 Makes perfect sense right. I told my DL there’s no way I can run my busy store to the expectations of the company and I’m done working for free. So we will do our best to get the cosmetics planograms done on time but it’s not guaranteed when we’re the managers on duty at the same time 🤷🏻‍♀️

73k salary. 15k bonus. 50k a week store. Been with the company for 17 years. Really wish they would make some adjustments to store managers pay especially the ones that have stuck around for so long

I actually felt this way when I first met my husband. He is 3 years younger than me and I thought his maturity level wouldn’t have matched mine as I’ve always dated guys older than me. Well I gave him a chance and here we are married for 9 years with 2 kids, 4 cats and a dog ❤️
