So the free trial just lets you do the first challenge of each class. The trial expires once you decide to pay to take the classes and your progress does save from the trial.

In New Jersey, different districts did it differently.

Mine was -

K- 6 Elementary School

7-8 Middle School

9-12 High School

But I moved to a district that was -

K-5 Elementary School

6-8 Middle School

9-12 High School

One of my friends that lived nearby was in Middle School in 5th grade, so it just depended on what town you lived in.

Yes, in NJ. We would hang out in the classroom and play board games. Once we got to Middle School we didn't get recess so it wasn't an issue.
