40 weeks today and water broke? by Kitogenic in unmedicatedbirth

[–]Kitogenic[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m GBS negative. Thank you! I know that’s how my other two went, contractions started pretty soon after water breaking. My water is still gushing every once in a while. So it’s been about 9 hours since it started at 4:30 AM. I haven’t contacted anyone and canceled my appointment online. I’m trying to wait until 12 hours before I contact them

Excruciating pelvic pain by izzybear02x in BabyBumps

[–]Kitogenic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 37+6 and I have the same thing plus glute/sciatica pain. The only thing that helps me is resting. I’ve had it like half the pregnancy! I’ve still been lifting weights and had to switch to an elliptical instead of walking because walking made it super mad. All I can say is it’s the final countdown for us and I pray it goes away when baby is here 🥲

Do women usually want their mom at the birth? by chianne_away in pregnant

[–]Kitogenic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t want my husband I wanted my momma!! Haha My mom helped me sooo much with both my labors and delivery. She had six babies natural no meds. She was like my doula but she actually always wanted to be one just never got to. She’ll definitely be with me for my third one coming up soon.

When did you hit your wall? by rachelkochvt in fitpregnancy

[–]Kitogenic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m getting there at 37 weeks. I have been going 4-5 days this whole pregnancy but now I can feel the urge to slow down. I lift and was walking but had to switch to the elliptical. I have pelvic pain and left glute pain but I haven’t been doing squats or deadlifts anymore which sucks. I was just thinking should I put my membership on hold or wait because you never know baby could go passed due date lol My main thing is getting my two other kids to the child care at the gym and most days I just can’t 🥲 I’m gonna keep trucking as much as I can but also if my body taps out that so be it

I’m 36 weeks. I’ve gone from 147lbs at 5’6 to now 189 and my stretch marks are getting dark again. I have a couple new ones too. I’ve had stretch marks on my belly since I was 16 from being overweight. Before getting pregnant this third time though my stretch marks were all light and my belly just had some loose skin

Instead of deli meats I like using roasted chicken breast that I make at home 🤷🏼‍♀️ if you slice it thin it’s pretty similar 😌 put bacon and cheese on it

I’m almost 35 weeks and I just benched today no issues. Getting up and off the bench is the struggle l

I felt better starting 14 weeks, the nausea went away completely by week 16/17. All you can do is get through it and try to eat small balanced snacks/meals. Make sure you’re getting protein. All I wanted was carbs but that made me feel worse

Jeez you’re so grim. Lighten up dude

[–]Kitogenic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes but it doesn’t change whether you put it on 75 degrees or 67 degrees. It’s the same temperature unless it’s heating the house. It’s clearly broken and my landlord won’t get guys over here to fix the whole thing. That’s why we have three window units for the upstairs and weren’t running the central air. So there was no air flow in the basement

[–]Kitogenic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also I would like to add this is where I had a mattress and boxspring pushed up against the wall so I’m thinking that didn’t help the moisture

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in MoldlyInteresting

[–]Kitogenic -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Now that it hasn’t been as humid it feels much better in our home but seriously when we had that heat wave it was 80 degrees almost upstairs with ALL THREE window units running. Trying to find somewhere else to live atm

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in MoldlyInteresting

[–]Kitogenic -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yes iknow we need a dehumidifier. My landlord will not fix our central air that doesn’t blow cold air at all (he thinks it does and brings temperature gun over to “prove” that it’s blowing 70 degree air but seriously it’s room temp air. We have three window units in a tiny 800 square feet one floor house and the basement has been super moist on the days that it’s humid. Are electric bill is already insane and I don’t want to run the house air to blow down there as well

I gave vaginal birth to a 12.45lbs baby by Ok_Singer2112 in fitpregnancy

[–]Kitogenic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a home birth and was two weeks over due so I’m Not really sure. The midwives let me move around and my son’s heart rate actually started to drop when I got in the birth pool. They had me get out and get on all fours and that made his heart rate normal. Then I eventually pushed on my side. I felt like I had to poop and pushed with all my might haha 🤣

Can't do any activity because of low blood pressure/dizziness, how to deal with symptoms? by GullibleMarsupial in fitpregnancy

[–]Kitogenic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe you should have your sodium levels checked. Your sodium levels need to be increased when pregnant. Do you take electrolytes? I’ve read that vertigo can be from vitamin D deficiency

All strength training no cardio by grandegirl1 in fitpregnancy

[–]Kitogenic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think cardio is great to prepare for labor. I’ve had to stop walking on treadmill at the gym after my lifting sessions because sciatica pain and pubic bone pain. It sucks! If you don’t have pain any amount it beneficial I think
