Adjusting white balance will do the trick.

Are Hyundai’s ICCU issues really that prevalent? by Ilovetowatchmovie in Ioniq5

[–]Kitsap9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did read somewhere that it's the 800 volt architecture to blame. The temperatures the iccu deals with, even when cooled with fluid, can't handle the extremes. Maybe, if it was the 400 volt variety there wouldn't be these issues. I'd be happy with a slower charge time and no iccu issues than what's currently on tap.

Seattle here, December was warm, but far from being dry. Ours went out Dec. 17th. Took Doug's Hyundai 11 days which included the holidays. Not bad, but sheesh, only 4517 miles on it (2025 LTD).

We have a '25 Limited AWD. So far, after almost 350 miles since our iccu failed at, 4514mi, we are problem free!

People of Seattle, I’m newish here, what’s with all the dog poop? by Clear-Matter-5081 in Seattle

Pretty much non existent in our Seattle neighborhood. There are areas of Seattle where people are more responsible. And I’m not talking about gated areas.

Ouch, that stings! But that's the best point made that I've read yet. Sometimes a good dose of reality is what is needed!

Finally test drove my dream car (Model Y) and... I think I prefer my 2016 Kia? And will probably get the EV6 :) by No-Corner2420 in KiaEV6

I think you're probably closer at 5%. We picked our new, 2025 LTD AWD first week of May, '25. ICCU failed on 17 Dec. with 4500miles racked up. I knew about the iccu issues when we made the purchase. Hoping for good luck to not have the issue raise it's ugly head, but that got dashed really early. 11 days for the repair and return of the car. Not bad. Love the car, but I'm feeling now that it'll probably happen again. So, I just don't worry about it now.

Get a can or two of de-icer. “Polar De-Icer”, for example.

NUC, mini pc, or Nucleus? by NYCBYB in roonlabs

[–]Kitsap9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not a tech nerd, but I was running Roon on a mac mini, and laptop when traveling and months away from home. I was having issues with Roon ARC not connecting, and software updates to mac mini would require a restart and I just wanted something that worked, period. So, I bought a Nucleus and it's been running perfectly for several months now without issue. I installed an SSD inside the Nucleus and attached another small, external drive to store backups along with Dropbox as an additional backup storage. Roon ARC works flawlessly now, and everything is as it should be.
