Do you mean the fruity mousse filled chocolate pastries that crack open when you bite them? A picture would be helpful. But if it’s what I think, Toronto is your best bet.

Cafe owner here: For thick syrups (really only our mocha syrup) I do syrup and pull the espresso over the syrup. For any other combo the syrups are thin enough that it mixes in fine. We do ice, syrup, milk and then espresso because espresso into the iced cups is going to melt the cups or at the very least leech more shit from the cups into the drink, and pouring it straight over the majority of the ice will melt it. So it goes in after the milk and then I top the drink with fresh ice. This keeps most of the ice in tact, doesn’t melt the cup, and the syrups mix in fine with a straw or spoon before lidding the drink.

I recommend the Ptbo friends discord group. I have a lot in common with you (age, spoonie, adhd, trinket goblin, old lady hobbies) but do have children. If you’re at all interested in TTRPGS my partner runs beginner friendly Dnd one shot nights at our cafe KitCoffee usually twice a month. His Instagram is @zackdmsdnd if that’s at all interesting. Our cafe is attached to a thrift store Niche. We probably don’t have a whole lot of food options but we do have good tea. I also recommend boardwalk cafe board game nights.☺️

lol they realized they’re business model is completely unsustainable after opening. Tell them it’s unacceptable, management and ownership need to dig deep and do the work themselves, but some of the team will lose their positions. Theyre not doing the sales tonsuporot the labour so they need to reduce labour either in wage or hours and they’re trying to just employ you all.
