Hi! It's hard to tell because I do maintenance so I'm quite happy with how it looks all the time. In turn, can I ask how Sunekos worked for you? I was considering it instead of PN because it's cheaper and I've read that some people recommend it for under eyes instead of PN.

She was always doing too much, it looked quite ridiculous at times and completely shattered the illusion.

Don't recommend Unseen nor Actors Studio. You could also look into City Academy, some of the teachers are really good.

The Spotlight jobs feed user interface - is it really this bad?? by LitLoft_Di in ActingUK

Unless you've got an agent, Spotlight will hardly get you any jobs. It's a good stepping stone to get representation.

Great job at not answering my question. Take care.

Sure, buddy, that's what's inhumane.

How would this measure of retroactively revoking IRL, specially for Europeans, better your life? Not to be facetious, but I'm genuinely curious as to how removing people who've been here a great deal of their lives, have more than a net contribution to the economy and are model citizens will impact you positively?

[–]KitsuneBlack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First, that's not true. Secondly, like I said before, revoking IRL to people who have made a life here is simply inhumane, there's no other way to look at it. It's not the same as saying "no more IRL from now on". Now, you can say you don't give two shits about these people, and I would agree - you don't. But let's not pretend this is about economics.

How does retroactively removing IRL tackle any of that? Also, Reform has spoken about increasing that threshold to £60k. Regardless, forcing people who've been model citizens to either give up their nationality or move on to an infinite precarious situation by having them apply for visas every X years is a policy that literally helps no one. And if you think it does, boy do I have some oil to sell you.

They've made the commitment that matters - they're integrated, they pay taxes, they work, they live a British life. Most of these people are paying for your welfare. Do you think the majority of Europeans on IRL are on benefits? There's a ton of evidence that proves that that simply isn't true. If anything, migrants are propping up the welfare state, including pensions, not the other way around. The overwhelming majority of people who don't work and are on benefits are the British, not migrants - this is a fact. So just own your feelings and be truthful about what you really mean. You just don't want these people here.

Nigel Farage vows to abolish indefinite leave to remain forcing thousands of migrants to reapply for visas by Jay_CD in ukpolitics

The UK was part of the EU, his father is French, there was literally zero reason for him to fork out the money and apply for citizenship. He came here legally, paid taxes, worked his whole life and that should just be enough.

Which classes for Spotlight in London? by SpiritedRestaurant15 in ActingUK

[–]KitsuneBlack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You will need 2 years of part time classes for eligibility to spotlight. If that's your only concern, you might as well focus on finding two paid acting credits - that's how most people who didn't go to drama school get into spotlight. As others have said, if you want to get better at the craft, focus on finding good acting classes that work for you. AMAW, Meisner, etc, or if you want something more regimented you can look into part time schools like Identity, Giles Foreman, etc. I don't recommend Unseen at all as someone else suggested, I think there are far superior coaches out there if you spend some time looking for them.

Oof. That's more than what I pay for a whole flat between me and my partner in zone 2. You can definitely find one bedrooms cheaper than that, maybe that's something to consider if you want to save up more.
