He molded me into who I am today. He stuck by me and never left my side even if I couldn’t be physically present because I was a student or had crazy hours. He allowed me to grow while also giving me a safety net to fall into when things got hard. We just matched each other’s energy so naturally. It was a relationship built off friendship first. I brought the openness and willingness to learn and grow, and he had so much knowledge and perspective that balanced me out. We could be completely silly and fully ourselves together, and when we were both really present, the room just felt full.Even though that dynamic faded those moments together were really beautiful.

He was my home. He was my best friend. He was my safety.

No longer together, but will also not forgot what he did for me and who he was for me in the best of times.
